I thought the boys didn’t give him much protection there … looked like Seyfarth got out of the way of the chasers instead of holding his ground. He should be sniveling those high balls at that price and his agility and long levers…

Problem is u cant plan with Moses managing key playersWere talking Issac Moses here.
The Cap will go up and so will either Bula's contract or Issac Moses's demands.
Sure ordinary managers will either leave the situation alone, or quietly talk with the club or just not botch the contract in the first place... i.e.
"We want 9.5% of the total cap which is 900k per year at the moment".
Issac, it will be screaming, whinging and dramas. He will try to punt Bula and we do it all again.
No Moses, no dramaz.
As someone else mentioned, tough day for the back three in the wind too, we need to keep the guy.
7.5/10 is good enough for me to give 900K if that is the base level of performance given every week. In this team we just need him to do his job, which is be good defensively, no errors, and support the offloaders. We can probably get a better ball player to play fullback for 900K, but we won't be able to find someone who can organise a defence like he does.It was a better game from Bula but, once again, he wasn't very involved in attack. I'd give it a 7.5 but, to me, it's still not 900k standard.
He played a solid game, as I said at a 7.5 level, and if he can maintain it or even better it, 900k is fair enough in today's inflated market. How do you know he organises the defense? Not doubting you, but I haven't really noticed him directing troups. Actually, occasionally, he gets caught out of position himself.7.5/10 is good enough for me to give 900K if that is the base level of performance given every week. Well summarized. I'd like to see him continue to improve but I can't help thinking that what we're seeing is his ceiling. He played well yesterday but didn't Gould go over the top with his outpouring of praise!I’ve always argued we are a better side with him in it and it still is true. He is an enigma. He has quite a few weaknesses, yet is competitive enough that he strangely makes us better - pretty much every game he plays..
Is he a great defensive fullback? No.
Is he an electric attacking player? No.
Is he reliable under the high ball? Yes.
Does he backup well? Improving
How is his kick chase? Strong
Is he an organiser? Not really
Is he a leader? No.
How is his footy IQ? Improving
Is he a ball player? No.
What is his strength? Running
There is a lot of room for improvement and taking into account that he is slowly improving, I think he will get there and is worth the gamble

Agree that would be the best possible deal.I still maintain his best form was his first year here in 2023 which was sensational in some games … Agree Gould is a dead set wanker with his over praising..
But I’m well and truly on team extend now .. I’d like a commitment for three years only 27-29 and then reassess him and the younger guys … he will probably want longer if he is staying though
I think he is one of those guys who attracts defenders and creates space for teammates, thats why we look better with him there.I’ve always argued we are a better side with him in it and it still is true. I would pay him $900k for the fact we know that 9.9/10 he is safe under the high ball...even when he is under pressure. I would say he is close to the best in the NRL when it comes to kicks diffused. Im sure there is a stat out there that may prove or disprove my theory. He played a solid game, as I said at a 7.5 level, and if he can maintain it or even better it, 900k is fair enough in today's inflated market. Some are saying he's a good organiser of defence, what other organising does a full ack do?I’ve always argued we are a better side with him in it and it still is true. He is an enigma.
