Jahream Bula #269

I would activate the option for Bula for two reasons.

1 it would avoid derailing our season ala Galvin last year
2 it gives us time to assess our options either from within or externally.

I don't have a lot of faith Bula wants to stay.
Will i be disappointed if he goes, probably will i be devastated absolutely not i still feel he has a lot to prove. At this point in time i think he has it in his locker to be a better than average first grader i dont know whether or not elite is beyond him its a risk.

Think it was hooper talking about it but apparently Bulas previous manager wants the cut if any option is taken. Unsure how true this is but you would think Moses wouldnt be a fan of that.
That’s correct…if either party takes up the option for 2027, his previous manager gets the commission and Moses gets nothing…that wouldn’t change anything though..Moses knows Bullas next contract will be his payday

If he doesn’t want to stay and we activate the option, we all know how next year and the rest of this year will play out…another sh1t show to agitate for a release early

We seem to play more cohesive with players that want in. Like most teams. Players that commit. If he wants out - then live and let live. At the moment he seems to be enjoying his football.

it might help explain St.George a little.

@mrrogerfabri posted a video giving Bula a creamy apple pie for lunch on instagram.

Bula is laughing in the video.

I think we can take this as confirmation he isn't off to the dogs. I cant imagine Bula taking part in something like that if he was.

Who gave him the apple pie? Vince Sorrenti or some other personality? ?
Would you not laugh? Just for a second - imagine you are a star like Bula and another star gave you an apple pie - would you not laugh?

But if a total.stranger gave you the apple pie - would you be laughing then.

Let's not let this one go to the dogs.

Please use your imagination before your confirmation.

I think its funny, but it's a staged video.
Bula trains with Roger.
I doubt he participates if hes thinking of going to the dogs.

I'd like Benji to bake a huge apple pie, slop as much whipped cream onto it as possible, go on 100% footy and shove it in Gould's face.

With his massive dumb head I'm sure he'd wear it well, hubba, hubba.

It still astounds me that player mangers pull the strings and players just go where they are told to like little children.
Mentally they are little children, have you ever actually listened to how Galvin speaks.

Alot of these guys if they weren't good at footy they would be in real trouble.

And another bunch have just been told how good they are all their life and have had every one around them do everything for them including all the decisions so it's not really a surprise at all..

People often forget footy players are just people. The same spectrum from good to bad and everything in between that exists in society is reflected in 1st grade footy players.

League is ultimately a short term job. After their footy careers, a small percentage of players will go into coaching or into media, however, most will return to the trade or degree they completed.

The problem is that there are some player managers who are unscrupulous, more concerned with lining their pockets than the progress of the players they represent.
