Benji ain't no push over. Theres no way he let bula walk in 27 unless we have a like for like replacement. The only way he is allowed to walk is if the board overrule it, like they did with Galvin.

Just spoke to the guy I know who works for the Dogs...I asked for an update on the Bula situation. He told me due to the current hype around Bula and being linked to the Dogs, he is unwilling to add to any further speculation by commenting further....I pushed him hard, but he did not waver....Not sure what to make of his reply....but draw your own conclusions

some media outlet came out with something that we were looking at Sloane, not sure if it was Riccio, all with a grain of salt with what you get from the media though.

Was there a clue in Benji Marshall’s press conference today? The reporter asked about Bula and Benji said his usual that he doesn’t talk about recruitment publicly. The reporter said that fans like talking about it and Benji responded “fans get to celebrate later”. Benji didn’t seem too concerned

If he doesn’t extend this year , then he is as good as gone come 2028 …I doubt they will even bother to put in another offer …

Not sure..our club option is so ridiculously expensive theres no downside to Bula to take it up..except Moses mite not get his cut..
So for WTs..we get a good but not great fullback for another season and time /space to develop or recruit his replacement
So for Bula...with the option he gets another 12 months to enhance his market value
Having said all that .Drinkwater's $1mill /yr sets a new market,as will Bears and PNG when theyre all desperate for marques in spine positions

It wasnt a personal attack. I was merely pointing out that your source has nothing to do with contract negotiations at the club.

My family member led a corporate team at an NRL club for quite some time. He played up to it, often pretending he knew things based on whispers, when in reality he wasnt privy to those private conversations.

Logan Brookes is as good as any you have mentioned,,, that kid lives and breathes footy, is lighting fast, tough and desperate to make it in the NRL
