II was part of the original contract, so Moses entitled to nothingMy understanding also.
Give the Dogs nothing. If they have to wait for 2028 to get a decent fullback then so be it.The source who told me earlier in the week that Terrel and Taylan were both done, and that Tyrone would be coming in due course, which I posted somewhere on this forum, told me that Bula was out the door.
Bula is a good player and we are a better team with him in it.
However, he is not a compete player and I don’t know how much improvement he has in him. He has a slight frame and thus not much power when he runs. Also, his acceleration is only average for a guy who is very fast over longer distances. He is already 24/25, not 20. He is almost at the point, IMO, that he is who he is by now.
And He’s not worth $900k IMO.
If he is leaving, I would exercise the option for 2027 for a further year. That way we have him for another year, or we can try and get a player from the Bulldogs to release him early (one of their good juniors). The Bulldogs strategy is to sign him after 1 November (if we exercise the option) and then agitate for an early release so they have him for 2027. Isaac and Gus are well versed in this, as we know. Having Bula for 2027 will also allow Attard and Brookes another year of development.
With the team doing well and the May brothers getting the first upgrades and extensions, we need to be careful about overpaying for Bula or anyone otherwise players will get squeezed out. Fullback has become one of the easier positions to replace. Whilst I’d prefer to keep Bula, it seems he’s gone but it’s not all doom and gloom if he goes IMO.
Yep active the clause & plan for life in 2028Give the Dogs nothing. If they have to wait for 2028 to get a decent fullback then so be it.
I'm over this fool and his germ of a manager, if he's too dumb to recognise that our club is going places then bugger off, maybe he thinks that he can solve the dog's problems lol good luck with that.If we’re happy to pay him 800k, might as well give him 900. The club is obviously happy to let him go if they aren’t willing to squeeze out an extra 100k.
I am not up to date with player managers, which older clients have dumped Moses?Look at the mays manager . Comes in on Tuesday , contracts sorted by Friday . Gets his clients good money , negotiates in good faith , knowing everyone wants the same thing , and it’s done . Not Isaac though . Constantly searching for leverage , both external an internal , trying to manipulate and undermine , using his mates in the media , creating false narratives to apply pressure .
It’s bullshit , and whilst I get he works hard for his clients , there’s a reason a lot of the older clients dump him (not morons like woodsy), as I think they realise he represents them and their brand and ultimately that’s not a good thing .
Yea , guys like Tedesco .I am not up to date with player managers, hitch older clients have dumped Moses?
we might be able to use 900k for 2027 elsewhereGive the Dogs nothing. If they have to wait for 2028 to get a decent fullback then so be it.
Surely the only real option for Bula is PNG. Theres no way hes going to the dogs, it makes absolutely no sense. The source who told me earlier in the week that Terrel and Taylan were both done, and that Tyrone would be coming in due course, which I posted somewhere on this forum, told me that Bula was out the door.

That injury looks to be recurring so it would likely impact his value...ppl will reference Benji and his injuries...bula is good, however not benji marshall good to take that risk on him.If he is off to png, it forces him to activate the clause at lower amount..
Im torn on this now
With the talks of him requiring off-season surgery, is it worth keeping him for 27? Whats the recovery time?
I suspect the roosters could be a smokey....tedesco would be done for sure by 2028.Surely the only real option for Bula is PNG. Theres no way hes going to the dogs, it makes absolutely no sense.
There could always be a smokey in the mix like the roosters.
Did your source give you any info as to why bula is gone?
So is Fletcher Hunt .. played real well while Ponga and Brown were outThat’s what I thought as well, sharpe is a gun

For mine , i think if Bula really wants to stay he should grow
a pair and tell his manager to get a deal done or else.
I think Broookes is closer than people think , an NRL pre season and some time around the squad would have him right up there .. kid is tough , and has good instinct and runs hard and puts his body on the line . Reminds me of watching a young Cameron MunsterYears off
