OFFICIAL Jahream Bula #269

well done shaun
tds, taylan and bula all in a week
so if he was getting 900k 2027
now it is a 4 year deal 27,28,29,30
and tds is on 1 million a year roughly
then bula has to be on 1.1 million a year, hopefully plenty of tpa in that
🤘So much for following Jarome...his cash was holding us back.🤪

Yes Odessa. Your reply is thoughtful. Thank you. You surprise me. You quote the SMH but have the ability to think like Dostoevsky.

You got me fooled. I like you too. Thanks for keeping it real.

Have you found today people struggle with difference of opinions and it's more about feelings and emotions then truth

You can not make people feel uncomfortable with the truth because they get offended or an option they don't like that disagres with there bubble of life

dude -- the articles say "north of a million"??

no contract is ever stated publicly including TPA's.

its always the contract value lol.

so the contract on the cap is over a mill.

and if you dont think we have paid more than youre not looking at the leverage we lost.

these have all been miraculously done wihtin a week after luai left. lol

which means that we were trying to negoatie before hand -- we couldnt close the gap -- then we basically gave the what they wanted bc everyone can say "we will wait for PNG now"

its logical

dont let the tigers fans rose clolored glasses cloud common sense.
Or everything had been agreed to but it couldn't be signed off of until there was cap space. Discussions with Luai's camp had been on going so everyone was very confident there would be cap space coming soon.
Everything with Luai becomes official so SM rings everyone and says alright contracts are now ready to sign.
I believe this is far more likely given a) I don't believe there was cap space otherwise and b) if it was agents putting the squeeze on Tigers because there is now suddenly more money available, these continued negotiations would probably have taken longer.

I wouldn’t have been overly bothered either way but keeping the team together can only be a good thing given our recent form

In a game missing our whole edge, which is where the game was lost, I am not overly concerned about our season prospects let alone future with this team.

I hope we can re-sign the Fainu’s on a longer deal along with Turuva. A signing like Leniu, if true, would also be significant. Mid-season would be great given we have lost Samuela for a while.

I think Leniu could be PNG’s next signing. He and Luai are tight.

You joke about this, but you wonder how much this might have weighed on his mind. If the Dogs were flying this year, he might have split. But they are going backwards. There’s not much appeal of choosing them over us.
Even when we only have 25% of our spine available.

I guess that's still better than the spineless low gutted Dogs.

The NRL could learn a lot from the NFL when it comes to transparency and attempting to maintain a sense of parity in their competition.
I can't stand watching NFL but I respect the way they go about things there immensely. The fact their regular season only goes for 4-5 months is amazing. It's concise and doesn't overstay its welcome. I wish our season was shorter and more focus was put on rep footy.

The NRL season is way, way too long.
27 rounds + a month of finals…crazy.
Agree that a longer rep season would revitalise fans

The revenue they generate is too good to shorten the season. That’s not killing the game. It’s the speed at which they are taking the game to. 6 agains are making it almost unwatchable.
I love the sport, and watch a lot of games each week but must admit that I have a lull each year where I become bored with it all.
I’ll go a couple of weeks or so after Origin of not even watching our games let alone any others.
When there is too many opportunities to win, the losses - up to a point become more meaningless.
