James Tedesco’s contract investigated, family ‘approached lawyers’ after split with agent

January news-" The Sydney Roosters have hired salary cap auditor Ian Schubert to remove any suspicion they are rorting the system."
Whew!- for a moment there I was worried for the Roosters.

Hired? A bit of conflict of interest don’t you think? Kinda says it all really.

If anyone thinks this is a pretext to Tedesco leaving the Roosters or the Roosters being in trouble, lower your expectations. This is all about Moses.

Found to have been millions over the cap for the last 5 years. Greenberg: “Since they initiated the investigation and showed responsibility they’ll receive a warning and a good talking to.”

The Chooks black listed Isaac Moses so I guess they are possibly mixed up in this in a attempt to force him out of the game. If so it would be the best thing the Chooks have ever done

I'm sure Moses would have a fair bit of dirt on them. The Nrl will not want this blowing up as we approach end of season. Will be sorted behind closed doors at HQ with no further action required.

They should be kicked out of the comp along with Melbourne. Clearing scamming the cap. The players should also be held accountable. They know what is going on.

I'll take that. Moses is a germ.

@Yossarian ...I would think uncle Nick and every other club offical in the NRL would like to see the end of one I Moses. Although as others have said, you would imagine he would have plenty of dirt on some high ranking NRL officals

@cochise Look at Tedesco getting paid under the table payments. That was this is all about.

I read the article and it said no such thing?

Yeah people going off early, whenever they hear TPA they auto-jump to paper bags. The article basically released no details except that they had some questions on his contract.

It may be as simple as deals falling through and the Tedesco clan trying to recover monies; plenty of precedent for that in the past with other footballers.

I'm not trying to say there are no dodgy deals, but I very much doubt this is it. You typically don't hear leaks from the NRL on a big case until they are ready to drop it loudly and quickly. If small bits and pieces are out in the media, it's more likely that they are only part of a small bits and pieces story.

Sounds like it could be a win-win. Roosters dick Moses, Moses opens up a can of worms on Mr. Sheen, Greenberg has to resign.

It's nice to dream, it will be dealt with behind closed doors and everyone will get off scot-free.

@NT_Tiger Fortunately our politicians don't take jobs which may be interpreted as a conflict of interest when they leave Parliament. We are so lucky to be the benefactors of the example they set.

That wins the ultimate prize for sarcasm i am impressed

Nothing will come of it. Uncle Nick smartly declined to work directly with Moses and had Mini do the dirty work. The club will be shown to have been at arm's length for any TPAs...

Come on teddy! stop getting your folks involved. You're a big boy now!
