This whole blaming of the club is the biggest cop out.

The media hammers us and everyone believes the hysteria and puts the boot in. I don't buy it. We aren't that bad.

One week after JT got sacked, he openly endorsed the club, the board and the players - saying that the club was on the right track and progressing well.

He went on to say that the players had no reason to leave and expressed dissapointment in how they have acted during this whole drama. He said they should sign and help this team play finals footy and bring the success that they supposedly desire.

They say they want to play finals, well shutup, stop distracting the entire club and start playing consistent footy and work for it.

The players had no more excuses whatsoever.

We had finally signed a great coach, been linked to good players (Milne, Mcqueen, Matulino) and with their resignings would have been on the right path. Finals footy and more beckoned.

The funny part is they say they want finals footy and stability and blah blah blah.

Woods goes to the dogs who are anything but stable and have been in the same boat as us this year. Woods saw this firsthand on NRL360 with James Graham being grilled as much as he was. They're in the midst of a rebuild themselves and probably won't see finals footy for the next 2-3 year themselves.

Tedesco goes to the roosters who were engulfed in turmoil last year and ended up coming second-last. Hardly the stable, powerhouse club that people might think.

Both clubs have money and heavy hitting stakeholders but they're hardly the melbourne storm. Better then us, but not by that much to make them dog it and leave (pardon the pun)

If we were that bad then why did Nofo stay when he could've left to the eels or dragons. Why did'nt ET leave. Why does Chee-Kam love the club. Why did Mcqueen come ? Why does Naqima want to stay ? Why did Ailoai stay ? Why didnt Suli go back to the eels when they came knocking ? Brooks stayed for some reason. Moses only left after having his contract withdrawn. Idris is only new but he seems to like the club..

These two are dogs. They are being soo badly managed and obviously have no backbone to make their own decisions.

Don't blame the club. The club isn't perfect, far from it. But using them as a copout to leave is plain ignorant and disrespectful to their team mates, coaching staff and most importantly the fans. Don't give the media more ammunition to hammer us. You dogged it, leave it at that.

Good rant.

X 2 its a good one

fortunately his not managed by issac moses and like our dogs

"It is a challenge but as footy players that's what you live for. You don't want to walk into a system where it is all set up for you and you can just be another name on the wall at a club that has already won a comp and achieved all there is to achieve in this game. It's always a challenge.

"We have our challenges here like every other team does. the thrill of knowing what this team can do to rugby league in New Zealand - I really want to be a part of. That's what I have said all along. I have said that to Jim, I have said that to Mooks, I have said that to the coaching staff here. I am sure we will have it settled soon."

Those are pretty pointed comments given the timing.

I highly doubt tedesco ever had to pull out his card at the hospital to pay for a surgery.
Surely if the players pay themselves all clubs would keep a chunk of their salary allocated for this reason and pay it out to them at the end of the year.

Bit late in the conversation but that's my 2 cents regarding that, unwanted as it may be.

X 2

X3, nicely summed up

Would have thought they would have had the balls to approach the club and politely decline the offer, rather than just letting the deadline elapse.
See ya boys, you aren't part of the culture we want to build.
