James Tedesco Signs with Roosters [Official]

I hear there could be some big names becoming available to squeeze Tedesco under the salary sombrero. This may not prove to be the master stroke that the Roosters think it will be.

The lies from these 2 is what pisses me off the most. To say your intentions are to stay then knowing for well that your going and to put it back on the Club that there offers have been taken away from them when they still haven't made there mind up….they are so classy, they knew all along they were going and took the Club for the ride.

Karma has it's way....What are you doing this Weekend Woodsie? Thought you were in the Test side.

The sooner the Fab 3 go the better. Good riddance.

Im over it. We can close these threads now thankfully. I just hate this whole transfer system. Its like yiur asking another girl out while your in a relationship.

Roosters have lost RTS,Jennings,Maloney to name a few over the last few years, but have proven that the show must go on..

We need to get over it and accept this is part of sport and move forward..

Absolutely agree. I loved Teddy and wanted him to stay. But seriously we offered him $1m to stay. FOr a player how has had the injuries to has had :crazy.

I truly believe we would be playing him to much money. If we could spend his money over 3 players say - Lolohea ($400), Hopoate ($400k) and Guerra ($430k) we are a far more balanced team.

Will will have a far better team next year

Chooks are my new team to hate…along with the Storm, the Dogs, Broncos, Manly, Sharks (after Saturday) etc etc..

Only played great this season in round 1\. The rest of the time he's been a massive hog.

Will forget he ever played for us,after this season.

Shows yet again it's pointless to produce so many juniors, when the club/s doing the producing get no great reward.

Need to be more poachers.

Truth is Teddy has never played a 1st grade semi game for us,and we stuck by him during his injury times.

Good luck to him at the Roosters: Being a hog and/or injuried too much isn't put up with their, and the Roosters will try to boot him as soon as they can.

This was always going to be the outcome. The negative is…we loose a very good player...the positive now we are in a position to spread our cap over about 20 players and not have the bulk tied up in a few players, who really as good as they are have not really ever got our club off struggle street.

Certainly I agree the NRL has to do something to protect teams against the cheque book clubs. Anyway done and dusted, time to move on

78/129 games played for Tigers. Spent 51 games injured - more than 2 full seasons out of 5 seasons 9 games he's been in NRL

Disloyal, ungrateful, backstabbing deserter

I hope you win nothing and regret this decision for the rest of your life

Cya

This is what really gets me with Tedesco.

im actually more disappointed than i thought i would be. yeh, we all knew he was going but, although different to Woods, the thing that really annoys me is the lack of loyalty he has now shown.
all the talk about the front office instability is crap and an easy excuse.

the big saying these days is that sport is a business. well imagine if you first entered the workplace as a promising young…whatever, had health issues that led to your missing 40% of work. they stick by you and your potential is realised and you are awesome at your job now.
then after averaging working only 3 days out of every 5, you leave, and another company gets all the benefit of those 5 years you put into this guy.

i dont wish him (or Woods or Moses) anything bad.

to think about it positively, im actually glad that the culture being built at WT is one that doesnt want or need people with the disloyalty and selfishness by which these guys are now characterised.

Now we should dump them all. Sit them on the sidelines for rest of the year. Let's get some new players into their positions and give them a shot. Why should we prepare them for next year for their new clubs. No this isn't sour grapes o have said the same thing since the start

We'd be best off dumping Moses, and "resting" Woods for the rest of the season. Can't do without Teddy but, if we're a chance of the eight, he has to be there.

Was inevitable we were all just waiting for conformation, now we can move on. I never usually wish ill will on a player but i hope all their careers go on to stall and be rubbish.

I don't care how bad it sounds but a ACL after 5 mins of round 1 next year against souffs would be great for Tedesco a repeat of 2012\. so that the rorters fcan have 1 million to their cap for nothing

Why would we pay a guy who can't play Sundays for 400k??? he should go to the Broncos they play only on Friday and Thursday nights perfect fit I am sure they have about 4 million left in the Broncos news Limited salary cap too
