I'm guttered as anyone. But those saying he isn't that good is dellusional. Sorry but he hasn't even hit his prime yet.

Gutted, as in to feel like your insides have been torn out.

Or are you in the gutter crying, with Milky?

I was wondering where Milky might be - poor guy must be heart broken.

Im disappointed too. This is a guy we have watched from before he was in the top grade, salivating and getting excited about the future. I like many others groaned a big sigh when he went down in his debut. I like many others groaned time and again every time he got injured.

Like Greg Inglis, I will enjoy watching him in full flight because I just cant look away from a great athlete, no matter what team they play for.

But the sun will come up tomorrow, and our club/team is coming of age with new beginnings. Whilst Im saddened today, I think it will sink in tonight that he is REALLY gone and tomorrow I will be excited waiting for our next signing and the years ahead.

And besides, I haven't written off this year yet, especially when some players have the mentality "this is our last year together".

Are Ben Matulino and Josh Reynolds traitors Dogs..I'm just curious…

I don't mean to be disrespectful Geo, but the situations are so completely different that it is stunning you could even compare them…

Reynolds and Matulino have both been effectively 'pushed out' by the salary cap. Both were loyal clubmen and both broke down in tears telling their mates they were leaving. Both are towards the end of their careers (27 and 28). Both showed loyalty for years. Both went to GFs and finals with their clubs.

Tedesco is a local kid, who the club stood by 1000% despite years of injuries. They then offered him Thurston like money to stay. At only 24 he is walking away having achieved absolutely nothing with us.

If Tedesco was 28, I could understand his urgency. But he is 24 and, instead of leading us.......he is bailing. It is that simple. He is taking the easy option of just jumping on the Rorters train.

Well said cnx tigers…you are 100% correct!

I think geo is in denial. Normally one of the calm ones

It's a win for the Tigers. At the end of the day we need a better squad you can't do that with 1.2m of the cap going to any player. The Roosters would have at least 400k of that in TPAs that's why these players will continue to go to the bigger clubs. When they don't perform they get the TPA to cease behind the scenes.

His 2017 form is pretty average TBH. May have already seen him peak.

SG…Iam not sure if I am trying to find a positive in Teddy's departure, but I was a thinking the same thing a few weeks ago. Don't get me wrong, he will always be a handy no1,but a million dollar no1 I am not sure. His biggest weapon was always speed, now as that seems to have dropped a tad, to me he seems to have come back to the field.

It will be interesting to see if he really kicks on to be another Billy the Kid, or just ends up a solid no1

I have a gut feeling that Teddy won't go too well at the Roosters. Our play style suited him really well, mainly because the play style was prepared around him and his ability. He won't receive as much of the ball and attention at the Roosters, they're filled with superstars. Plus, when is the kid not injured?

For me along with when Taupau left this is a black day for the club.
We wanted him our offer was good he didn't come up with much crap inthe media but sadly thought the Wests Tigers weren't good enough for him.
Its a shame because I thought Moses running our attack didn't suit him whereas when Potter was here and he and Brooks combined with offloaders through middle he was at his best till injured. And I think Cleary wanted a return to aspects of that style with Brooks and Matulino but he didn't want to give it a chance.
All the best tohim but can't guarantee the Roosters will be stronger than us in the future.

Teddy will be a big loss. He is a class player and probably will be the best fullback in the Comp in years to come if he isn't already.

We were lucky to have him at the Tigers for as long as we did, but we can't compete with the wealthy and structurally stable clubs. Maybe it will change down the track…...I am positive of the direction the club is going in so onwards and upwards.

For example......When Benji was in his prime the thought of losing him to another club would have seemed horrendous.....today we have closed the chapter on his time at the Tigers.....Teddy will be no different, players come and go and we will find other talent.

At the end of the day..NO PLAYER IS BIGGER THAN THE CLUB OR THE GAME.

The thing is Benji didn't leave. This traitor has. I think we offered plenty of money to him as well. He is an ingrate.

Always liked Ted. Our most exciting product since the early days of Marshall. And while I would never wish harm upon a player, I can't pretend I'd be upset if he suffered a career-ending knee injury.

Denial of what…? Just asked a question..

Now we have posters saying Tedesco isn't very good... he's slowed down a tad or wont fit the Rorters style of play that's denial...

Plus my son is a Rorters support and I'll have to put up with that for the next 4 years.. everytime he scores a TRY :brick:

Not trying to stir the pot geo. Sorry. Just think it's really different scenario what tiger's are facing with off contract stars. Tedesco is a freak and the biggest loss in our history. I have never said otherwise. He hasn't hit his peak yet will only get better
