James Tedesco Signs with Roosters [Official]

here here, all they needed to do was leave during the off season and not bag the club, or even say they were moving in another direction and not string the club for 12 months.

Think about who we could have signed in that time? Also we could have punted JT way earlier…

That's really sad.

It is sad that there are supporters like you who have no passion for your club. Me I'm quite content to hate those who deserve hating.

There's a huge difference between having passion and having hate and please don't tell me I have no passion for my club. I have followed first Wests and now Wests Tigers for over 50 years, through thick and thin, and I don't have to hate anyone to be a passionate supporter. If you feel the need to equate hate with passion, then that's your problem. Have a great life.

If you don't want to hate anyone that's your prerogative, but it doesn't make you any more of a supporter than someone who does. For a lot of supporters that's the game. Read social media for a day, hate of opposition players and teams is as common as the sun rising in the morning. People are more than justified about towards their feelings for these guys.

Woods - Club captain. Never once in the last 12 months backed the club or talked about wanting to stay. It was obvious last year what his intentions were if you were looking hard enough. Says all he wanted to do was play footy, yet in the same breath spoke about how disappointed he was that the club never consulted with him. Says he wants to go to a stable club, yet is going to one whose CEO was just forced out and who look like having big cap problems. Stable club huh?

Moses - Strung the club along for as long as possible in 2016 and took up his option at last available minute. Had an offer from our club on the table for next year for months. Cleary is appointed and decides he's not a priority, then he not only immediately signs with Parra but demands an immediate release and has the hide to say he always wanted to stay. Really? Oh, then he plays the mental health card. Oh, and also has his uncle labeling him a victim on national tv every week.

Tedesco - Stated for months that he wanted to stay and encouraged his mates to take a pay cut so they could all stay together. Lip service because when it was time to put his money where his mouth was, he bailed. Then is still talking about why he chose to leave, weeks after the fact.

All three are attention seekers and glory hunters who chewed up this club and its supporters and spat them out. If you don't hate them for that, that's your choice, but don't judge others that do.

If they were glory hunters they would have walked a long time ago.
I'm surprised that anyone would have stayed after the mess we have been for the last two years. Get over it.
Taylor's gone so there's some good news. There's no gaurantee that Cleary can make us a club that the top level players will come to, but there's a chance he can. All we can do is hope.

I'm sorry but im pretty pissed, he plays well in a blues side that did not have one bad player. I'd like to see him with a similar performance without a Fiffita; Woodsl Frizzel; et al.

Let's see if he even backs up for the tigers

Well obviously with a strong team he had a blinder. NSW used him well, they didnt go to him all the time like the tigers do.

Teddy was a bit of a flat-track bully tonight, he was great, but it was off a super dominant platform. Maybe he is right, he can only achieve his best behind the best sides.

There are some blokes to go to another level at Origin, a level they cannot maintain at club level for 24 rounds. Klemmer is one of those blokes, grows an extra leg in sky blue but not particularly effective / standout for his club.

Klemmer plays more of an impact role in origin with 40-45 minutes tops. He'd be more effective at club level if Des wasn't trying to squeeze 60+ minutes out of him at lock.

He was running off a dominant pack… He's never had that with us

The occasions when we have dominated a game in the forwards, or at the very least held our own - Teddy always plays well - we just don't do it enough.

Sooooo much hate. Tedesco's having a cracker of a game in SOO atm, gonna miss his presence next year.

Will be a massive loss….total stuff up by an inept management

What a load of crap.

Take your blinkers off…and face the facts lightening

Yep, Total stuff up. The big 4 would have stayed if we offered them over a million each, let them choose their mate as coach and have Wehbe running the club. We are inept.

He hasn't been defending like that for us which the so called experts say is a attitude thing.

The club did everything they possibly could to keep these guys. These guys simply don't have the character required to build a club around. Robbie and Benji had that character for a while. Hodgo did. Fulton did. Lawrence does.

Guys that will give their all and are loyal to the club.

We had 3 primma donnas who we couldn't build a club around because they constantly had to be appeased.

Tedesco's effort in defense tonight proves to me that he has been dogging it for the Tigers since round 2.
Scum

What a load of bull.

How so? Plenty of examples of him hanging out an arm and not committing with a shoulder for the Tigers.
Can't think where he has put his body on the line this year for the Tigers to stop tries. Prove me wrong.
Doggin it!

How about everyone chill out and wish both Teddy and Woodsy the best. Teddy was masterful and Woodsy was a handful in the opening stanza. Both are still part of our junior's history.

You can also throw Fifita in the mix,he was also one who came through our system. Did not see three players out there last night who came through the Chooks system.

Yes and look at their results, never made the finals and derailed season 2017 before packing their bags and destroyed the confidence of the other juniors telling them publicaly that they arent good enough for them. Great legacy from both!!!! where can we get some more like them?

I hope one of those juniors who isn't good enough for him lines him up first game against Easts next year.

It was terrible watching Teddy play so well for the blues

It's like yay oh wait he's bagged the club out and going to the rorters next year

Correct. I have no doubt he will go well at the Chooks because they boast a strong pack. If he had of re-signed with us, I think his form would also improve next year as our pack will also be stronger.

True Willow but don't forget he would have taken more of our cap space than he does at the Roosters.
