James Tedesco Signs with Roosters [Official]

Yep both are gone - woods to the dogs and teddy to the rosters.

Glad that it's over tbh. The way woods carried on tonight on Nrl 360 was nothing short of disrespectful to our club and its supporters.

The thing that woods and Tedesco don't seem to get is while they are saying they want to see what direction the club is heading with signings etc that tigers can't really make any plays for off contract players until those 2 or atleast one of them makes up their minds.

It's just amateur hour from all involved.

Makes it hard for the players when we change coach mid stream and rumours were about that Cleary had been on the radar since early January

Bit hard to complain about dumping the coach the majority of supporters had been calling to happen for 12 months for the coach who the same majority called to replace him with and who were convinced would be the key to these guys re-signing. Now its not turning out to plan, the supporters conveniently forget this is what they wanted. Can't pin this one on the club.

You can if the club started headhunting possible candidates in January and then made all this noise it happened after the Canberra match …...

Just on the speculation stuff - even without an official club announcement, the media would know instantly if Ted/Woods had actually signed anywhere, as the agent or the club would tip someone off. Think back to Brooks and Moses signing (and McQueen for that matter), it was all over twitter within an hour as other journos called their sources and confirmed.
There's plenty of innuendo on both regarding their future, but once they actually do sign somewhere (WT or elsewhere), we'll know pretty quickly.

No one is stopping the club from withdrawing their offer like they did to Moses and no one is stopping the club from recruiting players.
I am sure every off contract player is waiting close to their phone in case its a call from Wests Tigers.

If they have a particular plan they might be able to offer more after 3 seasons , but they could inevitably give all the money from Moses leaving to Teddy this season

Could be TPA's you just don't know

The last I heard was 4 years with an option in his favour , but until you see it on the Official site either way …

I love the comments about our facilities. It's a complete non issue for anyone who has a clue about training. I don't even have a clue and I know it's a non issue.
