Woods signing with the Dogs I posted last week. Which was intel from a sponsor who is a good mate of mine.
If sponsors have been given the heads up I take it as done.

Cooling off would mean next Thursday. Teddy I have no clue. I personally believe it will be leaked this week.

One of the most interesting things on NRL 360 tonight was a piece they did on a study done into what brings the most success to teams and above all else they found cohesion amongst the playing group overrides the best coach, facilities aesrhetics etc. A playing group that like each other and get along together both on and off the field was found to achieve the most success.
It is a mantra the All Blacks work on and from what I gather Mal Meninga is following a similar approach with the Australian team.
The boys club that has been so maligned might be what we should of protected. Things went backwards for us when we sent Gibbs Heighno Ryan packing and we havnt recovered. Maybe we were onto something with Teddy Brooks and Moses however its all looking very unlikely now.

With regards to team cohesion It would also be very handy to have a captain who really wants to be a captain and has the best interests of the club and his fellow players.

I don't think clubs contact other clubs about off contract players they wish to sign. They probably only deal with the player's agent.

Clubs do contact other clubs about players under contract. That happens quite often.

Just on the speculation stuff - even without an official club announcement, the media would know instantly if Ted/Woods had actually signed anywhere, as the agent or the club would tip someone off. Think back to Brooks and Moses signing (and McQueen for that matter), it was all over twitter within an hour as other journos called their sources and confirmed.
There's plenty of innuendo on both regarding their future, but once they actually do sign somewhere (WT or elsewhere), we'll know pretty quickly.

I think it's business days not sure how it works exactly.
