I can't wait if Tedesco or Woods do re-sign, what 80% of posters in here will say, because you're all convinced for some reason or another that they are leaving.

Im convinced Teddy is leaving.

I have no source its just gut feeling.

What will you have to say if they leave, that those 80% are right?

I will say: "Well, that happened, it was one of the two possible outcomes." I currently have no opinion either way and I'm not interested in guessing or leaning on gut feeling, it does nothing for me.

Don't get me wrong, speculate all you like. I've just noticed how many people are leaning towards them leaving because… well because of nothing except gut feelings and the attempted digesting of media noise / body language.

Same here . I've lost count of the number of people who've said to me that they know someone who's somebody's cousin & ( insert player name ) is already signed with ( insert club name ) . Funny thing it's not always the same club so they can't all be right . But they're all convinced about their inside info , lol .

Well I'll still be here supporting the Tigers if Woods and Tedesco leave and I won't be abusing them either.

The ones that may get personal are the young, immature people on here or the recent blow-ins.

I really don't blame the players for leaving, I blame the NRL for not ensuring an even competition. They won't advertise clubs TPAs but they always insist that the salary cap evens things out. How ridiculous.

Gould has stated that Brisbane have $2M in TPAs at their disposal. It has been mentioned elsewhere recently that Brisbane have $1M more in TPAs than other clubs (that includes Roosters and Bulldogs who have more TPAs than others anyway).

But hey, we've all known forever that the top clubs have better rosters and STILL sign stars that come on the market. Nothing new.

I am used to it, I don't like it but I am used to it.

I never applaud a former Tigers player either. They choose to go, fair enough but They are rightly ignored and forgotten about.

Forum would be a pretty bland place if we were all like that.

Its funny how your going to have a crack at those if he does stay, but you have no firm opinion.

Can't have it both ways.

I have no opinion on whether either are staying or going, only that I am sick of the conjecture and hope it is resolved ASAP.

I don't get it either. I really like Jirksyr as. poster, probably one of the most rational posters on the forum, but i don't get how if they do in fact go that it doesn't prove those of us who were already resigned to them leaving as right.

I guess those who are resigned to him going are right in a sense if he does in fact leave, not through anything other than a whim or a gut feeling though rather than hard evidence. It's hardly a vindication.

The forum has become a bore of merry go round comments. Take a break for 7 days and it's the same talk.
Golly Gosh! the father Ivan signature makes me giggle Milky. You're sold already. Happy for you.

Welcome Back

I'm back for the the 2018 signings only. I'm sure father Ivan is looking to 2018 with a squad picked by him. All coaches deserve that. This season has been trashed by the glorious fake 4.
Father Ivan better sign some good strong hearted blokes because I can't take take much more of this squad.
Show them all the door. We will clean up in the buyers market. Sign experience over ego.

Unfortunately , Cleary has to convince them to come here. There's no gaurantee that his drawing power will be enough, as the club has been a crock for a long while now.
I'm hoping that the lure of a quality coach and the dollars will be enough for a few better players to move here, but haven't seen any evidence yet.
If we lose Teddy, it might send a message to other players about how the place has been run.
I don't think that we could have signed a better coach, but I still have a sneaky feeling that we are a couple of seasons too late, and we may struggle to get the type of players that we need to be competitive.
There was a lot of damage IMO over the last few seasons while Potter and Taylor where here.
( and some of our front office as well weren't too hot).
It may take us a much longer period than a lot of us would like to think it will.
Another factor is that after 2018 a hell of a lot of these available players will be already off the Market, ( some for a long time)
we need to be able to pick up some quality for next year,as it may be harder to do it in 2019.
Cleary isn't JC. He'l do better with our current rabble than some have( I hope) but without
Some class players, we are in trouble.

Since we are on gut feelings. My guy is that Teddy and Woods both want to stay. Everything they have done in public is becaaue of 2 things:

1\. Push their prices up as far as possible by making it out that they could leave.

2\. Force the club to get off their backside, change coach, get stability in the backroom and build a decent roster for them.

I think the club has done both those things so they will both be staying.

I don't know if you get my point.

It is fact that there is no firm information that they are staying or leaving. It's all rumours, or people interpreting comments / body language.

In the absence of anything definitive, I choose not to guess if they are leaving or staying. I find it pointless, and it is my opinion that the ongoing speculation just adds to the apparent drama. For every person who says "I can't stand the ongoing speculation, make a decision already" there are 5 people making speculations. Every rumour posted adds to the pool of misinformation driving this story. SMH and Daily T run a Tigers contracts story every 2 days and nothing much has changed for the past 2 weeks.

People appear unable to just sit and wait for the facts to present themselves, which they will before long.

So I don't have it both ways, I in fact have it neither way.

Precisely. If you do once rain dance and it rains one time, are you vindicated or did you just guess right?

But my point is more that a lot of people are resigned to them leaving, much more than those "resigned" to them staying. And I wonder out loud what those people will say if they stay; how convinced they really are of their ability to guess what's going to happen based on what they've read in the papers.

Pretty much my thoughts. Understand the frustration however of the uncertainty and imagine this is what many people are frustrated about. Liken this to the age old adage of 'read the lines between you read between them'.

*Disclaimer: I am aware that i will cop much abuse for what i'm about to post. Having said that you can choose to believe it or not, it's entirely up to you, i'm just feeding the information i receive*

Tedesco has agreed to terms with the Roosters for 2018 and beyond, as of this afternoon. I am not sure how long for or how much, but it is from an extremely reliable source from inside the club (yes we've all heard that before). Take this information for what you like but its expected to come out in the media in the coming days (Tedesco is aware it will come out, a major reason for deleting twitter and possibly other social media platforms) with an annoucement to follow the COP. If it doesn't i more than happy to cop it sweet.

I agree with jirskyr as well. To me it's something that we just have to wait and see what happens. We don't have any information and assuming that Tedesco and Woods haven't signed anything yet they could change their mind at any point.

They can delete it if they like. If you don't believe the info just ignore it. People on here are entitled to believe what they like. If nothing comes of it the next week you can crucify me all you like.

Not sure why it needs to be deleted. If it were inside info saying he re-signed we'd be fawning all over it. But because it's info we don't want to believe it needs to be deleted? Come on.
