"Wants to play for a successful club"

2 premierships since 1975
Missed the finals 7 times since 2005
Finished last and second last twice in last 7 years.

Sure they have had some good seasons that's because they make moves like they did getting Tedesco but there's a lot of dark times between the good as well there.

Nice work on the chooks.
The dogs have a longer premiership drought than us. 2004 was the last time they lifted the trophy.

If it is true that they all would have signed had 'Wehbe' not been told to bugger off, I want to give whoever made that decision a big kiss.

We are better of without them and this has been shown in the last few days what makes them really tick.

I think the club has not been in a better position to be honest, I dont see all the doom and gloom that the media is talking. But then again, they are puppets for the managers, grubs and those wishing to push their barrow.

I look at it like this. Everyone, in media and outside rate Cleary as a coach, no doubt about that. So if the club is such a basket case, and there is no doubt, no doubt whatsoever that Cleary would have done his due diligence…..why did he sign on as coach?

The Irony is, Jason Taylor got rid of Joe Wehbe after he would be in the dressing room after training and games having words with all the players. Taylor decided that was enough and banned him from the dressing room. I think everyone on here can figure out when that was and the series of events that followed…

I have no inside information. I do judge these players though by their actions and to me it's pretty clear what has happened here.

We have a couple of pathetic human beings who have decided they have to get everything there way. Robbie had to go because they weren't the centre of attention. They liked JT until Wehbe wasn't given whatever he wanted and then JT had to go. They probably wanted Payten as coach as well. They don't get their way so they are going to have a tantrum.

Good riddance. I want players like Nofo and Brooks to be at our club.

I can't believe he said he's happy with how his manager is handling it! That was an act of idiocy from Moses to ignore the club and Teddy should be livid if he's true to his word and hasn't signed anywhere as yet. To draw this out the way it has gone…I hope for Teddy's sake it's not about money because I reckon he's cost himself money with this contract.

My head is spinning. Either he is genuinely undecided or just trying to save face….

I dont think he's smart enough for it to be the latter so he may genuinely be undecided....

If so are the tigers simply playing poker with the offers being pulled statement.....

I guess we'll find out.

He also said he wanted all of them to stay and play here together and that being a Tiger was his priority. His words don't mean much.

Was thinking after the game, why would they want to leave,

Cleary is going to take this club a long way. As the year goes on, the more obvious it becomes, the more I think he'll begin to regret this decision.

Even Woods was asked about how he was finding football under Cleary and he likes the simplicity and communication Cleary has brought to the team. I was hoping he and Tedesco would get a glimpse as to how the future will look, but hell, we'll survive without them if we continue to play with structure, patience and a plan.

I heard Teddy doesn't care for the money, talks were that his family is quite well off and that he is really just chasing that winning feeling. Roosters were his favourite team as a kid too.

Yeh they just beat the dogs, who have apparently signed Woods and had Teddy to at one stage, but Moses seemed genuinely excited and part of the team.

Can I still hold on to a little glimmer of hope that Teddy will re-sign?

Is there even a 1% chance?

I really hope he does too mate. Until an announcement is made that he has signed elsewhere than I guess there is a chance. Hopefully he buys into the direction Cleary can take this team.
