They have a very ordinary squad, But we have an unproven coach. It’s going to come down to which team shows the most grit and heart imo.

Their new coach gets results though … they will improve IMO …

I think Tigers are deserved favourite for the 2024 spoon at this stage… some of these kids are going to have to step up to avoid it …im keeping my expectations low on this though…

Ask Bennett about props. He had a staunch policy of not paying props a cent over 500k back in the day.

Bennett did not pay a cent over 500g for a prop bur Andrew Gee and the Clydesdale foundation probably made up for any shortfall. Funny how the NRL brushed it all under the table at the time

Including the fact that Lockyer's playing payments went on for years after he finished playing.

I reckon they will miss Crichton big time this coming season. Best centre in the comp - defensively and in attack. A top drawer centre is much harder to replace than a 40 minute, impact edge forward or a handy bench utility.
