Brandon Smith said on Matty Johns show; that he's heard from multiple people that Jarome tries to fight his team-mates at training & he expects high quality of football from them and a high stadnard . Said something along the lines of people don't like it but compared it to Michael Jordan.

Interesting comments.

Brandy called him the gifted one. Spoke for ages about him being the most influential player in their current squad after one of their finals a few weeks back.

Still can’t believe we have signed him. The more interviews I watch he seems like exactly what we need. This guy is going to make people feel uncomfortable in the club - and that’s a great thing.

Hopefully Luai puts the challenge on his shoulder and really elevates the squad.

And hopefully we're still trying to upgrade the pack

Possibly with Benji and the rest of the training staff when he sees how much they need to elevate.

Wonder if Richo will organise for the rest of his contract to be played out in the Super League.

Not sure how often he had to defend out wide at Penrith? He sucked defensively at halfback. Coincidentally those games were we under strength as well and on the back foot.

After being one of our best, I thought he faded bad late in the season. Tried too hard. Basically wore himself out trying his guts out.

Burdened by the responsibility of captaining a mostly clueless team and run into the ground by being played for more minutes than he should.

Paul Alamoti can’t remember one game this season where Jarome Luai hasn't lashed him with an on-field spray.

Only last weekend, in Penrith’s preliminary final win against Cronulla, Luai caught the left centre in a moment of "laziness".

The resulting words were too explicit for the three-time premiership-winning five-eighth to share.

“I probably can’t tell you exactly what I said, it went like, ‘Bleep, you bleep, bleeeeep!'” Luai laughs.

“It was just a moment against the Sharks, he stopped moving when the ball was in the air.

“I don’t really look at it as a spray anymore. I know he does and some of the younger boys do. But I just want to see my brothers at their best.”

Alamoti's response to Luai's tough love tells you plenty about the 20-year-old former Bulldog.

And Luai's reaction when told how Alamoti feels about him also speaks volumes.

Given he will be playing for Samoa unlikely we see him before Xmas to any extent. All the rep players will be the same. Read yesterday Bateman won't be back till post Xmas and all other internationals will be similar
