How can anyone trust a process when that process involved sacking the independent board in december leading to the resignation of our best ceo in the joint ventures history?

Alright so should we just fold the club at the end of his 5 years? The way you guys carry on is insane like no footy club can ever succeed without the almighty Jarone.

Roy Asotasi was the famous signing that turned Souths around. When did they win a comp? The year he left. Obviously there were other signings and players who emerged, but the point is you can have someone turn you around and it's not the end of the world if they go.

If we immediately revert to being a basket case because an average 5/8th leaves us, then we weren't that good to begin with. Penrith has barely missed a beat without him and but for Reece Walsh becoming superman, they would've had a 5th premiership last year.

Don’t really think anyone is doing any wrist slitting however saying we’d continue on our merry ways without Luai is a bit rich

The proof is in the pudding mate, we were a soft club with over hyped juniors who we banked on to take us to the promise land pre-Luai. The guy may have disappointed on field (not the worst) but he surely has lifted the standards ten fold

Probably just weighing up options like he is entitled to, I reckon he stays with us tho

Did I say he was gone. But I don’t think it’s a good look to be flying to PNG mid year to look at joining at team in a year and half when your a captain. You must be high as he obviously has interest in going there or wouldn’t be going to look.

Don’t know how any player could risk so much by heading to this club. Tax free dollars to live in a third world country with no education for your kids and all it takes for you to be out of a job is some international political deal with China totally out of your control. Wayyy too much risk vs reward for me but it’s not me in the shoes of someone getting a contract
