Not sure if 5/8s should have this style of play.

They need to be able to throw good balls, it's the bread and butter of a good 5/8.

And they need to run hard and straight to attract players to them, maybe with a step if they have the whole package, not jump around like a flea.

Well his ego is obviously quite large.

How can he be surprised considering his form, does he think that he's worth more than what the Tigers have in stall for his wage.

And he decided to leave, it was him who through the first stone.

Ive read that Prime Minster Marape is giving multi national companies operating in PNG some “encouragement” to offer players TPAs …not sure that’s happened with Luai now ..but players that go there are going to make bank … the clubs might complain but I think the horse has already bolted

All communications from all reports have been open. The Tigers statement thanks him for putting team first.

I think it's all quite civil and even if its not, we as fans should take responsibility in thanking players for their service.

As a club, we can't have any more messy break ups. Legally, ethically, all parties have behaved well and let's see out the year, thank him for his services and move on..

I believe Jerome leaving will be a good thing for the Tigers as we can invest in our future with Fainu and Andrew’s, who can form a good combination for many years to come. Jerome brought plenty of attention to the club mostly positive with sponsorship and corporate dollars as well as seeing him cash in with deals like Binge and Soul Origin linked to the Tigers brand.

I was not a fan of his prior to coming here and once he is gone he will be back to being an opponent of the Tigers. I think his decision is different to the Galvin scenario from last year whereby he bagged the club and coach and Luai if you believe may have done an honourable thing in leaving when he could have dug his heals in and taken the contract that would have hurt the future of the Tigers.

It is a shame how it has played out and the last few months of football was there for him to take the lead given our injuries and he was not up to it.

Hope we can knuckle down and finish the year strong as the first 2 months of the season was the happiest I have been following this team for 15 years and to see it become a pile of garbage the last 10 weeks is disappointing.

Ps if he goes to Parramatta I will have 1 more reason to hate Parramatta and the Dogs.

Haven't read every post but every 3rd post here or FB is about making him look bad, saying he said he'd be here forever, him playing shit etc.

If most people don't feel that way, I take back what I've said.

Yeh guys like Jarome, Richo, PVL etc are not my cup of tea. I'm not a fan of outspoken, talk big type of people. But they're in positions that I'll never be in so maybe you need to have that big talking personality.

I never said i felt sorry for him. He obviously had such a big ego he thought he was untouchable and it has caught him off guard.

PVL walks the walk , talks the talk and gets things done , he is the real deal even if you don’t like his persona or attitude he gets shit done

As far as I’m concerned, he has stolen millions from our cap.
That tap has been turned off and I’m happy Benji stood up for the club.
That’s a boss move. Maybe there’s hope for him yet.

I don't think you can. Remember Turbo wanting to take a paycut for being injured a lot?

Once you've signed a contract, you have to be paid that amount under the Cap I am pretty sure.
