I’d rather push my cuticles back with a screwdriver and wear a Bulldogs jersey than support a club that would even entertain the idea of bringing that salary thief back.

Our statement basically said he's leaving at the end of the year. If clubs put in crappy offers like $500k, $600k a year etc, then we will be left with a massive expense.

And based on our statement, no way are we holding on to him.

Any club can lowball as much as they want now.

The club was always the problem, insisting on playing him out of position for so long. And even if that wasn’t the problem, Luai failed here too. Brooks has found his niche at Manly and was playing some of the best footy of his career before his injury. He got injured and Manly have fallen off a cliff.
