I have a feeling you’re right. The whole Luai thing has just been odd since Ivan questioned his ability. I doubt he stays at Penrith anyway.

Olam seems out of favour so very possible.

AFB may be the best prop in the game and we all know how that usually ends for us.

Yeah I think Luai is gone from Penrith too, I'm still not confident that we are they only potential destination for him though.
I think the AFB is possible but we will have to go okay this season, he's not coming to cellar dweller, will want to join a fringe 8 side.

Not the way the new rule is worded. During the 10 days Penrith can present a counter offer. At the conclusion of the 10 days he can decide who he wants to sign with.
Though the fact there hasn’t been even a snippet of chatter around Penrith increasing their offer leans heavily in our favour.

A great half and forward is what Dogs need too. They lack a good halfback and prop. If Bulldogs sign Luai, I could see AFB tempted to go there too (unlimited spending power from Gus of course)

Yeah I reckon our odds of signing AFB shorten big time if we jag Luai, and Olam would also add a little too. He’d have Fulton in his ear as well. This is why I think we should be all in for Luai, players will want to play with him, and he’s seems really competitive, so I can’t se him being a dud. Make him an offer he can’t refuse or just ask him what he wants and give it to him. The cap goes up, Brooks was on a mil, and Luai is worth 500k more than Brooks, so anything under 1.5m is a bargain. Go get him Benji.

Doubt Olam would add anything to swaying a player to join us or another team.

Luai & AFB are big ticket players. If we are half a chance you do what’s needed to make the deal happen. I would be disappointed if we don’t snare AFB because he needs to move, we have cash & this is the real test of the Benji/Fulton Power. It would also help in the retention of Stefano and Pole. Luai is harder to see moving given the bond and success down the road from us the Panthers offer.
 
if we can somehow move Nofo on full freight gets him off the books.
2025 you have AD salary 600k - 650k to play with
Sezer potentially not re-signed
we just need that Luai signature

0% chance we get both of them. It’s good to dream, but don‘t get carried away. We’ll be flat out getting one of them.
