Well it's fine having Gus doing heaps of stuff until he gets tired of it, or even worse, until he thinks you're looking a bit tired.

That’s another story. I simply disputed that he’s not good under a high ball. He’s always been great. All great fullbacks drop one here or there.

You can be sure the dogs and dragons are also in discussions with him and his agent, yet there is zero mention of this in the media. As usual.

Brent Read's column today had a tidbit about Canterbury wanting to have a crack, but Gus is weary of going too high salary-wise given their clear lack of quality in terms of middle forwards. the Dogs are appealing to him though given Ciraldo, Burton, Crichton and Kikau are all there, plus Laundy's "investment advice".

I think they are some very valid points, with every deal theres multiple parties involved, other clubs including the parent club . Agents possible 3rd parities, i know our club has leaked like a sieve for many years so theres always that doubt. But the jurno's never miss a chance to put the laces through us and that pod above was actually suggesting otherwise, so they would know where their info is coming from.

It wouldn’t have been though. A few more clubs will throw their hats in the ring before all is said and done.

Apparently he’s told his teammates that they’ll know his plans by 8th Dec. so I’m wondering if he signed with us yesterday and has to wait that period before he can announce.

Yeah i dunno depends on how desperate we are to get him over. Galvin seems like a fine talent but he's not guaranteed success or even to make it. There's plenty of debate as to whether he's even a half and then you add Fainu and Sullivan on 4 yr deals and Large also coming through in a few years. Put it this way despite what was said about Benji loving Galvin if he loves Luai more you just never know. But if we did do it you can pretty much rubber stamp the kid as a future superstar 🤣
