I reckon we'll see him with a Development contract in 2024. With Feledy into top 30 & Ma'anaima unlikely to be retained, that leaves Mansfield as our only confirmed Development squad player in '24.

With 6 spots available for Development contracts, then the best indicator we have of our Dev Squad for next season are our Train & Trialists:

Tony Sukkar (full T&T)
Jordan Miller (full T&T)
Chris Fa'agutu (pre-season T&T)

So I am assuming 5 of the above will join Mansfield in the Dev Squad in 2024 with Da Silva, Laulilii & Miller probably guaranteed top 30 in '25 & the likes of Mason, Galvin & Kanaan possibly then coming into Dev Squad in '25.

I wish Jersey Flegg and NSW Cup were always livestreamed, with 1 or 2 games a year televised. I used to love seeing our lower grades play back when the U20s was a thing. Surely money isn't an issue? There must be a market out there to support this.

Mason is doing preseason with the NRL squad in November. unsure on his contractual status but he is definitely in the club's plans. Galvin is also 100% going to be developed as a back rower moving forward. needs a huge preseason and is probably still a while off, but has talent in droves.

It’s just cause he’s younger and Tofaeono (the prop who’s replacing him) has been good this year too.

They’ll ease Miller into it.

With a better forward pack in nrl we should now be able to do this, gives us time to take the right approach for each individuals progress. We just need more nrl quality backs to be able to do the same with them.

The three of them look like babies, I hope we aren't so desperate that we ruin them by rushing them but am happy to see we have some coming through in the next couple of years.
