36 to 20. Full time.
Fa'agutu and Noah Johannssen were the 2 best in the middle for us. Noah is a big boy and has some strong carries. Some work on defence and fitness and I can see him up there with Tim over time.
Kanaan was very solid and I think we would have lost without him today. Seemed in the right spot at the right time more often than not and I dont think he made an error.
Clarke was best on ground in 1st half and non existent in 2nd half.
Liles looks a player. Wants to be the dominant half and backs himself.
Both edges looked good with ball but also a bit suss in defence.

Good to read Kanaan played well. Thanks for the update.

Fa'agutu again! Too strong. 3 for the day for him. Under 5 mins to go and this game is in the bag. 36 to 20.
This is how players should be earning promotions to higher grades though. By dominating a level and then forcing your way up. Doesn't happen often enough, not sure if it's just his lack of size holding Chris back, but he's a real aggressive little nugget

Highlights from Jersey Flegg are up. Doesn't tell the whole story but a few moments reinforced a few things ...

- Bailey Hodges has a very good passing game from dummy-half.
- Max Taotua looks a great 19yo prospect on the wing - speed & size.
- Max Liles & Iverson Matai look a good attacking halves pairing. I hope we can retain both of them in Flegg next season as top agers. I think Matai is a slow-burn. Whilst he's no Latu Fainu, if he can keep improving his defence, he will be a good backup 5/8 in a couple of years.
- Jared Haywood has class!
- Chris Faagutu is a class above Flegg. If he can add a bit more strength, power & bulk in the off/pre-season, no reason why he couldn't play some NRL next year.

@Tigers_Wests do you agree?

The speed of ball movement in that team looks better than it often does for our NRL team.
