Terrible and nervous 2nd half.
All of Kit’s ball carries remained very strong and I thought Ryder Huth done things at speed all game without fear.
Glassie Glassie was very strong with every ball carry and muscled uk defensive habit the highly rated Dayne Jennings.
Lucky to get away with a drew, but we have some very good prospects in this team and they can beat any rival Jersey Flegg team if they are on their game.
Makasini didn’t seem interested and was disappointing.
Haywood and Attard both continue to show glimpses of their class and are both very good prospects moving forward.
Blake Van Drie another who continues to rise, showing very good signs and continues to improve.
Archie Duncombe worked hard, but not real effective today.
I think it was a mistake leaving Lenny Plati out. He might give away a bit in size, but he plays with high intensity and aggression, always up for the fight and digs in when the going gets tough.

Ok so some thoughts having watched some of these guys for the first time

Glassie Glassie is strong and aggressive. Loves the physical side of the game. A little short for a centre, but powerful.

Ryder Huth moves well. He actually reminds me of a young Trent Barrett and Andrew Webster. Not as tall, but plays upright and through the line similar to how those 2 did.

Duncombe is promising.

Godinet was very strong, particularly in the first half. A couple of errors in the 2nd half, but he is very willing and offloads the ball well. Pretty impressed with him.

Haywood is pure class. Need to lock him up long term.

Van Drie was our best. Wholehearted lock who was in absolutely everything.

I think he is a bit too light at the moment, but like everyone else I am highly impressed with him and get more optimistic about his NRL prospects everytime I watch him play.

I think its 4v5 in elimination game. 2v3 with loser to play winner of 4v5. Finishing 4 or 5 means all games are sudden deat.

Kit is destroying Souths up the middle. Haywood’s service is crisp too

It is always interesting to see people’s comments on players, as it is hard to compare across different grades. If Kit had been only in Jersey Flegg the last couple of years I am sure we would have him up there as one of our best up and comers. Same as Luke.

To be fair they attacked down the other side a lot more often.. wasn’t really given the ball in any space
