Wests Tigers Jersey Flegg coach Wayne Lambkin has named his U/21’s team for their Round 2 match against Sydney Roosters at TG Millner Field.
It will be the squad’s first match of the season after they were handed the bye for the opening round — giving the side an extra week to prepare for the new campaign.
The 19-man squad will feature some familiar faces — including Mavoni Tuifua, Logen Dillon and Iverson Fuatimau — who all trained with the extended NRL squad over the summer.
Dillon has been named at fullback and will link-up with halves Ben Stevanovic and Kade Hill and hooker Rua Ngati in the spine.
It will be the side’s first match in over a year after the 2020 Jersey Flegg season was cancelled after just one round due to COVID-19.
The match will kick-off at 11:45am on Sunday following the Wests Tigers’ Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership clash against the North Sydney Bears.
