Surely, they can do better than that?

Hey Demps . . .the jersey is sublimated. The fabric starts off white, and the ink of the print is applied to a paper, then this is pressed into the fabric with heat and pressure to transfer the ink images onto the white fabric. ( that's why the inside of your fishing, sports jerseys, etc shirts is white ) The print is only applied to one side of the white fabric.Embroidery is probably better, yeah?
These prints are known to flake and fade.
That looks thailand quality.

The colours generally don't fade or deteriorate in any way. The colour transition from orange to black is easily achieved using this process, and cannot deteriorate in any way. Any logo's can be applied at the same time as all the colours and print features onto the white fabric, but will of course look much better with a bit of definition when embroidered.
The flaking and fading you refer to are from older technology "heat pressing", which is basically a printed vinyl transfer heat bonded onto fabric. Yes, even the best
of this stuff does fade over time. The best quality material still only comes with a 50 wash "guarantee".
Sorry for the lecture, but that's how it works.
It might be one of those shirts/ jerseys/ tops that looks good on . The photo I saw of Makasini in the jersey , and it looked formidable . A lot more than last years jersey .Interesting post.
Insightful.
It does look like a fishing shirt as ink said 😂
Yeah, true.It might be one of those shirts/ jerseys/ tops that looks good on . The photo I saw of Makasini in the jersey , and it looked formidable . A lot more than last years jersey .
That’s not to say Kev down the local RSL will look good in it . But I think from the photo I saw , it will be an upgrade on the old on field jersey . Not sure how much merch that will sell though .
