I'm outraged. The NRL don't care about the players. They also lack the gall to make tough decisions when it affects one of the top teams. When they get the opportunity to kick a team like us or the Warriors, though, they are always able to make the tough calls.

The punishment given to JTJ highlights how weak the suspension handed out to those Dragons players was in the first place. They should have received much more for what they did.

Why was some random pervert taking photos of a guy wearing undies in his hotel room and was the stake-out applied equally across all NRL teams or just to the WT guy with a history of mental health issues? Was this a sting by the NRL KGB; a Danny Wanker exclusive; or top-shelf Slothfield journalism?

The same voyuer that was taking pictures of the Dogs players at a private Mad Monday probably.

Paid Paparazzi by News Limited to sit outside the Hotels... I kid you not..without the Jet specifically..

given the life James has lived, the mental health issues that man faces on a daily basis are like nothing else. that man has been to hell and back. for the NRL to condemn him for simply getting fresh air, which would've most certainly increased his endorphins, is a farce.

Is he the only one alone (because of the contact in Sydney) or are they all alone?

If the latter, it's ludicrous as they'll be training, playing and showering together. If the former, it's a predictable issue given his past history and he should have been granted an exception to have someone with him who was also in the bubble.

Who'd have thought hanging a towel on a rail would have him hung out to dry.

Some are alone or some are mothers with 1 or 2 of their kids with them. Benji is there with his wife and kids because he was out of the bubble for his child’s birth.

Yeah it is a pretty tough Quarantine, it was meant to be fairly relaxed but the QLD government changed the requirements 3 times on them including the day before they flew out and then again on the day after they arrived.

with backflips like that it's no wonder they won the Olympics.

seriously the guy went on the balcony.

hope we win 10 in a row

They were all sent detailed instructions and gaffer tape to tape up the doors so no one could open them

Surely that would have to be against all fire regulations even in a backwater like Qld

They literally had to take pictures of it and send to QLD Health

where is the fire brigade. Seriously is Qld part of Australia?

They are unfortunately - if only we could saw through the borders and let them float away.

But then there'd be far fewer places to holiday.

Haven't seen anyone in the media call out the NRL for the unfairness pf JTJ's fine and suspension compared to the St George players. Wonder if it would be different if it was Latrell or if JTJ played for a fashionable team.

I not being funny or sarcastic, but what has he been through, I'd like to know. From where I stand a lot of people are confusing metal heath issues with diagnosed mental health disorders. Once again I'm not being jerk, or meaning to, but I though JTJ's problem was all was grog related (hence the 6 clubs in 8 years). If its substance related (grog) call it that, I'm honestly not sure when rehab clinics became mental health institutions. That last part was a bit douchey, I might be naive, but it appears as though that footballers are playing the mental health issues card for everything that doesn't go their way these days.
I expect an avalanche of criticism but its an honest question.

I would think it may be appropriate to do a little research before posting something like that. Roberts has been quite open about his time in foster care, exposure to domestic violence and the impacts that has had on his life as an adult.

I think what's happened with Covid-19 and now more recently an Olympian, Simone Biles (with her traumas and own battles) it really helps open conversations about mental health. Also shows there's no exceptions.

Apparently if you lock yourself in a room inside an imaginary line drawn on a map for 2 weeks , youre protected from an airborne virus afterwards……. Because of reasons

The balcony in the top left of the photo looks clear, I think these guys are safe.

The Jet was told to keep off balconies because of a previous indiscretion, whereas those performing the Haka are doing so because of previous tradition? Would it be different if RTS was getting married? IDK?
