Yes, Madden was good when we had our strongest line-up, a lot are forgetting this fact, couldn't handle a horror injury toll, not many could unless you're Adam Reynolds or another top 3 half.

Jock was great behind a dominant pack and a strong, running five eighth. He had neither for 3 games.

That’s true, he and AD were combining well.
As I’ve said repeatedly the way Madden straightens things up and attacks the line gives a runner like AD that little extra time.
Unfortunately we’re caught between a rock and a hard place with Luai. Big wraps and good off the field but think his best playing days may be behind him.
But don’t think Benji has the balls to reinstate Madden and Douehi, because of the likely reaction by the rest of the team.

Man I reckon there would be an army of MILF's who would go dancing with Luai.
I had a boss that was straight but reckoned he would go the other side for some American someone (Kanye maybe? I can't remember).... I think Luai has the power of conversion, or with the Hair you could pretend.
Footy though, I think the half dynamic matters and Madden/Luai will take time to gel. But with injuries we haven't given anyone time to gel.

Completely agree. Madden and Douehi were an effective combination in many ways with their attacking shape and complimentary kicking games. I get annoyed every time I see Luai's ridiculous goose step or hop.

Big game this week for Madden… and the club… the season is in big trouble if they lose

Latu has a free run at his preferred position of 6 with Lachie Luai leaving.
AD and Latu will be the right mix for us. A strong leader in AD with a young star, both powerful runners, Latu the straight player, AD the more sideways, both have kicking games albeit both need some work, both incredibly good defenders for halves.
I cant wait to see them play together and interchange between first and and receiver.
Latu Fainu has not had one single game in the position he has played all his life....Five Eighth on the left. Wait until we see him dominate our left side. He will elevate Sam to an Origin player.

Even when Adam Reynolds is utterly wasted and running on a broken ankle with no chance of recovery despite living in an iron lung for 8 weeks, he is dangerous. He still has his footy brain. Hopefully Jock has learnt from the Master.
