That's enough reason why Madden should be encouraged to stay with the club. He is still young and I think that with the right mentoring and encouragement he will improve over time.

First time I've seen Jock play live, he's competitive and he does a good job engaging the line, but he hasn't got a smooth pass off either side that I saw - fairly clunky. But knows to give early ball which is good. Defence was fine.

Apparently Kev is working as a PT in the US and is pretty fit, but not the man for us.

He was already in our top 30. The resigning is for 2022.

My regular meeting place for pre-LO games is the Orange Grove Hotel, a short walk from Mary St and the enrance to LO.
I was a bit surprised to see Justin Pascoe there having some beers at 1.40pm on Sunday (prior to the Manly NRL Trial) when games at LO had been going since 9.45am?
I would have thought a "boss" might have actually been at the ground, leading and doing "boss" things?
Sure, maybe he had been at LO for hours and just left for a quenching ale and lunch at the Orange Grove pub?
Entirely feasible. Appropriate? That's another thing

Or with sponsors, or corporate guests....or any reason. Keep grinding.
