Joe Ofahengaue #240

I remember when Joe was playing in the under 20's. He would make 200-300 metres a game and play big minutes. If we can get Broncos to throw in 25% of his contact I'm all for it

I’ve got to hand it to Madge, he is trying everything possible to get this squad playing finals next year.

He has to for his sake, he's under a fair bit of pressure next season to get this squad firing

Sorry to burst your bubble but that comment couldn't be further from the truth. Madge isn't going anywhere.

We are lucky to have Madge.

So true.

Anyone that has followed this club for a good amount of time can see things have dramatically changed.

Don’t let that JAC garbage completely blind you. There is clearly a ton happening behind the scenes.

And aside from all the first grade signings, we have gone on an absolute assault signing promising juniors from other clubs. Something we’ve never tried before but I have full faith will pay off in the coming years.

We’ve all been burnt and scarred by previous terrible management decisions, but I’ve completely given myself to Madge and management. I would advise to do the same, it’s very freeing!

Good news.
Next year is starting to look a little more exciting.
Now to offload Morris

Did you just get back from the local Battleship Kul!?
Morris left years ago:joy:

Morris? A blast from the past. Or are you talking about Benji going to Morris at the Sharks?

Josh who??

I'm almost ready to let the sook walk if we can use his money or squad spot to improve our roster.

They can’t let the sook go, because it will be 2 years running where the club has talked tough in media (matto and now JA) and they will not have backed it up.
JA needs to be banished to CC or player swap with manly

It'd be cutting off our nose to spite our face if we just let Aloiai rot in CC. Get rid of the jerk and we can use his money for something useful.

I disagree. Let Aloiai be 20th man all year and never play a single minute. He can be the tackling bag at training. This sends a strong message to every player manager out there. Don’t mess with the Wests Tigers or your client will end up on the scrap heap. Well worth the money.

Unless we can get something significant in return he can rot as a tackling bag and the 20th man.

Stick to your guns Lee

Recruitment is starting to look great for next year.

The dribble in the media is doing my head in surrounding our recruitment. I just think someone needs to make it perfectly clear that JAC didn't reject us. He agreed to join us and signed the H.O.A. Melbourne wouldn't release him, that's why he won't be in our colours next season. Not because Madge is too tough, not because of Souths or Canterbury being more desirable destinations, but because he was not released from his contract.

If we can jag Laurie early, sign up Joe O and swap Aloiai for Sironen or Schuster then the glass is overflowing!

Well done Madge, Pascoe and Hartigan.

Melbourne actually said that, but the idiot press still just make up stories to suit themselves.

JTJ will outplay all the other centres , if he trains hard, and is switches on .He’s just better than them . We are talking about one of the best centres in the game who has gone wayward recently . And I think Joey will put in this offseason . He would have seen what an offseason here did to his brother , and he’d have to want that for himself . Or he’s kidding himself . Everyone forgets he didn’t have an offseason here , and turned up 15kgs over weight at Canberra . Sure he has to be accountable for that , but we all know hard it is to put in for a job and a place that don’t want you. They are our best 2 centres , regardless how you feel about the kids being held back . Joey is a left centre by the way . I’m not sure why he’s been playing on the right.
