Joel Edwards excited for Club debut

Good luck Joel

Just hope some on here don't expect you to be the next Paul Sironen or Bob Lindner

He will crack in defence , but I'm not expecting him to crack 100 metres in attack in a real hurry

I'm fine with that , hope others are as well

I reckon he'll have an impact - whether its enough to win us the game is highly doubtful.

Hopefully at least he can push a few plodders back a step in the pecking order.

I'm hoping Sue is out and he can start at lock. Be good to have another ranga who still has his hair in the team.

Good luck on your debut - wear the WT jumper with pride.

Hit 'em, and hit 'em hard. We are with you all the way.

Best of luck Joel #191…make your debut game for us a memorable one...Cut Cammy in half so his mouth guard flies for a 40/20...

looking forward to this. One or two 'specials' will have their forwards looking for him. Long time since we've seen any team run with any fear at the tigers forwards. Now it might be different.

Im confused

What if doesnt make the 17 :brick:

He's named as 17 mate, he'll definitely be playing.

Pray to God, he leaves a big enough impression on Taylor that he has no choice but to keep him in the side permantly.

Finally we get to see him play in WT colours. Hope he hits hard and encourages our other big boys to do the same. Looking forward in seeing how he goes.

Well neither is Halatau but this fella seems to be much better in defence so I don't have a problem with that! And hopefully he will push Dene back to the bench in due course. He's certainly bigger and IMO Dene is just not big enough for a starting back row position.
