He 100% won’t be in the first grade side next weekend. No chance. It will be JTJ and Talau/ Mbye in the centres.

I would be very, very disappointed if he's in the team. He was dropped last year so hopefully happens again

Problem is LL may well spit the dummy if his bro is dumped. If so, seeya LL, we can't carry a spud to suit his family. Over it.

I agree with the bagging this bloke is getting. My question is what has he shown in the preseason to justify his selection? I am at a loss.

he lost 10kg

There is only one good thing to come from your team being smacked the first two games of the season, and that is it is clear that changes need to be made quickly before the season gets away from you. If Madge does not drop BJ, then he has blinkers on. Mbye to left centre, Musgrove in for ....one of the inept performing forwards, and hopefully Roberts back in.

Sorry, I had to change channels in the second half, but I can't remember one forward getting an offload. Did I miss one??

In the second half Twal hit the ball up close to the line, he had 2 players on him and his arms were clear. Laurie was there in support but he made no attempt to offload.

I thought the exact same thing at the time.

Let’s call a spade a spade. Twal is a deadset plodder. But I’ve been saying for 2 seasons now, he just needs to add an offload to his game and that changes everything.

Was our only forward to make 100 metres today and also topped our tackle count. I wish we had a few more plodders who put those numbers up consistently for us.

Take the numbers away and the problem is , is that we have too many players made from the same mould

I agree that we do need a prop who busts tackles and creates more opportunities, but Twal is no plodder. You need Twal type forwards in your team, I was hoping Ofahengaue would be that forward but he's been pretty one dimensional as well.

His brain only weighs 1kg if that.....wonder where the rest came from. Useless deadwood.

I’m very reluctant to bag players but that was diabolical today from Joey. In addition to the obvious misses/misreads I watched closely the urgency to make it back just in case, help a team mate etc. and it was non-existent all game. Cannot be in first grade next week. It will outset his brother but that is a necessary evil. Couldn’t believe Mbye wasn’t put out there after 30 mins.

100% just jogged back after each time they sliced through his zone

I counted 4 tries directly responsible through him on that edge. I had to rewatch the highlights to actually confirm.

Man he is terrible

Think about this for a moment...BJ's last good game was almost two years ago.

Two years...

He hurt his neck and then was terrible when he came back. Watch the GF and he actually cost them the premiership (blew a try / then was lazy getting back and got burnt by Keary)

Stuart did everything he could to force him out as he knew he was done.

Last year he, literally, did not play a single good game for us.

Now, two shockers to start the season. He can't get back on D and he can't move sideways...whatever speed he had is gone.

**That makes it almost two full years since he last played a decent game.** It is rare a player turns form around after a period that long. Fingers crossed for a miracle, but he looks cooked. If so, we have an immediate issue as he needs to go immediately. You can't carry someone playing this badly in the NRL.

Anyone see 'anything' to suggest he has anything at all left?

he played great in the trial v Warriors ...arguably our best that day

ever since has been complete poo

Madge should make BJ read every one of these comments, out aloud to the whole playing group.

He can’t read 😂
Dumb as a house brick 🧱

BJ , Brooks And AJ back to reserves. Bye

Those 3 are a must, some accountability is required

LL today was terrible as well.
At the end of the day if we are worried about LL staying or playing BJ then everyone making that decision should be instantly removed from the club.

Putting them together was never a good idea what are Madge and Hartigan doing?

Brooksy will chat media around Tues/Wed saying this is not good enough, it's my team, take ownership blah blah blah. Rinse repeat next week after another bollicking vs Knights. It's laughable if it wasn't blue-collar people investing their hard earned money into the club.

I’m normally the optimist when chips are down but fair dinkum BJ effort was the worst seen in a Togers jersey & we have seen some bad ones lol

BJ'S body language & defence is concerning.

I think all the teams body language wasn’t good after their second try today. And that included our captain as well. But has anyone got BJ’s game stats

Defensive stats.
9 tackles
7 missed tackles
3 ineffective tackles

Hard to believe but true.

Is his "run" metres in + or -
Cause every run he had it was sideways and then got pushed back

They should be walk metres.
