His bro ain’t much better. The forum criminally overrates him.

LL was bad today, they targetted him early in defence. Laterally he is terrible

He was great last year though. There are plenty more that need the finger pointed at them than LL at this point in time.

I tend to agree. He seems to be done as a good 1st grade centre. He was never consistent, but now it just seems to be all bad.

Bit left of field but I reckon we could get some good value out of him in the 14 jumper. Bring him on for a roving role (kind of like how we used Talau week 1) and have him defend in the middle of the field. Lateral movement and decision making is less of an issue in the middle of the field, while he's got the passing game to play as a ball-playing lock, as well as the footwork to perhaps cause some issues late in the game.

Give him the last 20-25 mins of the game. Limits the risk of him messing up, while putting him in a position to use his best attributes while fresh and at the end of the game.

Looks like he put on weight again.

He slips in a Mars bar where the GPS tracker is supposed to be .

No thanks. His hitups are terrible & he gets pushed back. He also wants to offload everytime. He arm grabs and has no game smarts. Playing him in the middle would be a disaster.

He 100% won’t be in the first grade side next weekend. No chance. It will be JTJ and Talau/ Mbye in the centres.

I would be very, very disappointed if he's in the team. He was dropped last year so hopefully happens again

Problem is LL may well spit the dummy if his bro is dumped. If so, seeya LL, we can't carry a spud to suit his family. Over it.

That’s the problem when you sign up family members , isn’t that the reason stefano left the eels the way they treated his bro

There is no chance in hell that the club will take up his option for next year and the only reason there will hold out on the decision would be to please his brother. Madge said JTJ is back next week so for me the centres are JTJ and Moses with Talau on the wing instead of Apa.

Moses is a dud as well. Lose/lose situation. Buggered if I know what we do there.

I have him ahead of Joey as at least he tries and is a lot better at defence.

I agree with the bagging this bloke is getting. My question is what has he shown in the preseason to justify his selection? I am at a loss.

he lost 10kg

His brain only weighs 1kg if that.....wonder where the rest came from. Useless deadwood.

He loves eating Oporto burgers and he is now back to regularly eating them.

There is only one good thing to come from your team being smacked the first two games of the season, and that is it is clear that changes need to be made quickly before the season gets away from you. If Madge does not drop BJ, then he has blinkers on. Mbye to left centre, Musgrove in for ....one of the inept performing forwards, and hopefully Roberts back in.

Sorry, I had to change channels in the second half, but I can't remember one forward getting an offload. Did I miss one??

In the second half Twal hit the ball up close to the line, he had 2 players on him and his arms were clear. Laurie was there in support but he made no attempt to offload.

I thought I heard somewhere that Twal was working on an off load in the off season.

I can't understand why we haven't seen it yet when there have been opportunities but it just hasn't happened.

BJ , Brooks And AJ back to reserves. Bye

Those 3 are a must, some accountability is required

Brooksy will chat media around Tues/Wed saying this is not good enough, it's my team, take ownership blah blah blah. Rinse repeat next week after another bollicking vs Knights. It's laughable if it wasn't blue-collar people investing their hard earned money into the club.

I would select him in the five eight position as a last chance before reserve grade. Doehi to halfback.

Maybe he's hesitant because we can't hang onto or do anything with the ball anyway ?
I'm sorry if that was a bad joke but that's what today felt like to me. Or a friggin nightmare.
It's like everything that could go wrong, did.
At least I'm not feeling disappointed anymore and am only numb at this point.

Hopefully simpkins (Tui) is in the team , he was off loading at will in the trial. Twal has been disappointing for me. Just no grunt in his runs.

He's dead set hopeless. Anyone, and I mean anyone, would be better than Joey. He's an oxygen thief.

Madge should make BJ read every one of these comments, out aloud to the whole playing group.

Sadly he can't read.
Interpreter needed.

And then pick up the freshly broken eggshells

Seeya Joe.
Look on the bright side we have $600k+ of this Muppet's money to spend for 2022. What an absolute flop.....nearly Anasta-like and that is saying something.

He’s certainly on a trajectory to mixing it with the worst signings our club has ever seen. Anasta, Blair, both come to mind. There are a host of others that I don’t care to reflect on.
