Joey may well be completely cooked...

Think about this for a moment...BJ's last good game was almost two years ago.

Two years...

He hurt his neck and then was terrible when he came back. Watch the GF and he actually cost them the premiership (blew a try / then was lazy getting back and got burnt by Keary)

Stuart did everything he could to force him out as he knew he was done.

Last year he, literally, did not play a single good game for us.

Now, two shockers to start the season. He can't get back on D and he can't move sideways...whatever speed he had is gone.

**That makes it almost two full years since he last played a decent game.** It is rare a player turns form around after a period that long. Fingers crossed for a miracle, but he looks cooked. If so, we have an immediate issue as he needs to go immediately. You can't carry someone playing this badly in the NRL.

Anyone see 'anything' to suggest he has anything at all left?

He's got nothing, no speed, no urgency, no ability to defend and certainly no football brain.

We just from bad to worse letting momo go hurts eleven more

For Joey I don't think it comes down to form at all. His form is irrelevant. For me it's effort and I haven't seen him put any in at all in a Tigers jersey.

I could cop poor form if the bloke was trying, but he's not having a go at all.

Got conned with his whole covid struggles, away from family etc last year.
Two games have shown that was nothing, exact same lazy no effort plays.

Has to be dropped till he can show some effort in reggies

No need for the adjective before the word brain Willow.

Yes, he relied on sheer power between 24 and 28 and that looks to have gone. He was a beast for a while, great offload. Carried it off his line like an extra prop.

But he now looks...very...slow and immobile. His carries are nothing like they used to be also. He looks absolutely done as a first grader 🙁

Definitely No.

Mbye really needs to be reinstated at Left Centre.
Joey can go to the bench or can go to reserve to improve as far a I care.

Agreed but the same thing happened last year when they were on the same side.
Lucy only came good when they were separated.
Just don’t understand why Madge wants to play them together.

I dont make wholesale changes after two games, especially given the draw and our alternatives, but BJ is in Reggies next week. And you wont change my mind.

There is only one good thing to come from your team being smacked the first two games of the season, and that is it is clear that changes need to be made quickly before the season gets away from you. If Madge does not drop BJ, then he has blinkers on. Mbye to left centre, Musgrove in for ....one of the inept performing forwards, and hopefully Roberts back in.

Sorry, I had to change channels in the second half, but I can't remember one forward getting an offload. Did I miss one??

If he isn’t playing reggies next week Madge has rocks in his head. He has to be dropped & earn his way back. At this moment his nrl career is coming to an end very fast.

Bit harsh - he's had some good games. Wish his teammates would turn up like he usually does.
