Tried too much in an unbalanced side last year.

Hung out to dry due to a lack of support.

Will appreciate Luai and Sezer doing most things so he can hopefully be a weapon on the edge.

He might give his all but he needs to cut the dumb stuff stop giving away penalties and pushing stupid passes

Love the guy's passion but it does lead to a lot of dumb shit on field and as others have said, if anyone needs a full, injury free off season, it is probably him.

Having said all that, I agree that we need him at close to his best but I am afraid that even though he may occasionally have a good game, his best is well and truly behind him.

Was always very wary about signing him and considered it too big a risk but I would be very happy if he could prove me wrong over the remainder of his contract, or however long he decides to honour it for.

Sloane can’t tackle.

As footy players get older it’s sometimes quality over quantity. In NFL veteran rest days are often contracted.

Hope to see our crazy Pom back at training when it resumes in January .

Pretty sure the NRL rules are veterans get 10 weeks off after their last game. Batemans last game was Nov 5 for England. So may not be due back 'til mid January.
I don't however know if September counts towards his 10 weeks as obviously he wasn't playing footy then.

Doesn’t he still have the cleaning business? Ok it must be under management but it would be labour intensive, so the owner needs to have some input. Discretionary effort of staff doesn’t exist with owners.
