Jordan Kahu

He is a Keebra Park junior. We have first right of signing to Keebra Park juniors. (I believe) We let him stay in QLD on compassionate grounds because he wanted to stay close to his father and couldn't afford to move down to Sydney.

Those issues might be addressed? Who knows. I agree with you though, I'd love to have him here.

I remember the excitement about him coming down to the Tigers after he signed. Was a few articles and the board was pretty optimistic about his potential.

He was on a WT contract for NYC, but the summer he was due to come down, Broncos made an offer and he asked to stay in Brisbane.

It's a risk we take with Keebra, and to be frank, I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. Only that Keebra isn't exclusively QLDers, we get lots of Kiwis from there.

Ah the Brisbane Broncos - the kings of the compassionate release. Players who apparently can't cope unless they move to Brisbane suddenly overcome these issues when they want to move on from the Broncos. I'd be happy to let him play FOGS Cup after how he treated us. I agree Copley would be better.

He seemed to be being groomed to take hodges spot when he retires. With bennett failing (for once) to sign a player he wanted (gagai) i cant see the broncos letting kahu go now anyway.
Copley could do a job for us at centre or wing. Seems a solid player and an upgrade on what we currently have. What would he rather though? Play every week for a struggling club or play a handful of games for a top club?
