We can’t approach him and sign him until November 1st next year and that’s for the 2022 season without Melbourne’s permission

The Storm suggested they would release him for the 2021 season - however I’m expecting that if we gave good enough compensation we could get him for the 2020 season

Hopefully a financial agreement is good enough as sending a quality player to Melbourne would only set us back further in depth

No one is taking Josh Reynolds with a domestic violence charge hanging over his head and a potentially tons of bad press court case ahead. Clubs just won't go near a player like that until it is all over / cleared.

Please don't compare JAC and Matterson. JAC appears to be a very good bloke and highly regarded in the NRL. I understand he has a family issue and we can all empathise with him. He has also been at our club and did well. If he does come back I cannot wait. As for Matterson, the Club handled his exit as well as it could and picked up quite a few exciting players from the Eels.

He wants to raise a family and feels it is important to have the support of family nearby. We can all empathise with that, especially me. My job also took me to far off places and away from family and friends.

I’m just negative atm because I’m sick of us filling our team with b graders. Every bloody time we get an a grade player it end up in tears!
