I don't know what happens down there. Guys who couldn't tackle an 7 year old with a limp at Concord suddenly become sound defenders down in Melbourne. Either there defensive patterns are better or everyone forgets that they're dodgy defenders.

Anyway I wonder if he's still planning to return to us….......

It all comes down to solid coaching. Work out someone's flaws and then coach it out of them as best you can. I read somewhere that JAC said this was his hardest preseason ever and that he is training a lot more at the Storm that he ever did with us (guess it was a bit hard to in reserves). That says a lot.

It's got to be more than that. They've got a good setup down there but our guys can't be the bumbling idiots they seem. I'm thinking being in Melbourne and away from distraction helps. Plus the Brumbies effect.

Everyone who wants to have a rage / whinge / riot / dream / frown / dummy-spit about JAC being at another team, come on down to this thread, get it out of your system, throw a few more darts at the Jason Taylor face tacked to your dartboard, stick a few more pins in his voodoo doll, burn a few more effigies.

Grab your Tigers pillow, scream into it if it makes you feel better.

Get it all out, get it all out good, and let's move on next week.

JT chose Jordan Rankin over JAC. Says it all really.
JT should never be employed in any NRL capacity ever again. I wouldn't even let him sell pies at ANZ.

I heard it was more of a personality thing. JAC might of been a bit of a

I guess when we are the worst team in the comp and coming last, even our ex players in the team coming 15th seem to be going better… Let alone our old blokes in the team coming first

Wish we could get the best out of our players and bloody hang on to them.

Look at Martin, JAC, Brown, Fifita, Taupau etc. all tearing it up for other clubs.

We lost martin by opting for Brooks and Moses which was understandable at the time, although I would have extended him for a year which we had in our favour.

Nathan Brown was a stupid decision, the club pays very little attention to developing NSW club players which has destroyed both first grade and NSW Cup,

Fifita for Blair, lol.

Taupau chased money and there is nothing we could have done about it.

Add Sironen to that list, we could have had a beast forward back.

8\. Woods
10\. Fifita
11\. Sironen
12\. Taupau
13\. ET

14\. Brown
15\. Aloiai
16\. Sue
17\. Ava

I just think they would be too bloody scared to not do their job - imagine incurring the wrath of Bellamy!

The guy was rightly a second tier signing that was identified as good potential who signed a contract when his manager was aware that although severely struggling with the cap, WT were interested and had asked for a week or two whilst our head honcho was away.

He wanted to get out of the deal, but had waited until the cooling off period had passed. WT wanted to retain him, but were not given he opportunity to do so without paying too much out to Melbourne from an already blown cap and with whom WT subsequently attempted to negotiate a deal.

Anyhow, carry on ranting and don't let any facts get in the way of a player that I also wanted to retain.

Most of us understand JT couldnt identify or develop talent. You cant change the past you can only try to fix the present and develop the future.
Just as we survived that other moron Lamb we will survive Taylor.I have great hopes for Cleary as i feel he is just the right man to rebuild the club from the bottom(where we deserve to be after JTs coaching)he did good work at the warriors which no one else has ever been able to do.I expect all the deadwood to be moved on Lawrence may be the only exception as he is still under contract.2017 is a disaster but like a phoenix we will rise from the ashes

Ok JT is gone and good riddance, but what about the clowns that rubber stamped his appointment they need to be punted also.

Umm that would be the old board who have been gone for 2 years.

Well actually no, you don't sack somebody and then automatically fire everyone senior who was involved in the initial hiring.

No point crying over spilt milk :bawling

It's done as is JT. Let's hope we can get our team humming for the remainder of this year and the new coach gets the players we need to make us a competitive for years to come. 😛ray:

Yes, I had to laugh when i read that comment myself

After 3-4 games with the Storm and that thought will be long gone out of his head.

Yep thats how I understand it all took place. If JAC wanted to stay, which everybody claims, then he simply jumped too early.

I also suggest everyone see where JAC is in 12 months time to see whether he is a loss. Still has defensive deficiencies and errors in his game. I would have liked to have kept, as was the case with Koro.

I agree. Some people have such short timeframes for making absolute calls on players. Chris Lawrence was the next big thing, then became the big thing, then stopped being the big thing, you can't make such summary judgements over footballers based on a few rounds.

If JAC plays a whole good season without being found out, then yes, laud the performance. But also beware the first-year syndrome where players make an impact until teams develop strategies against them.
