Josh Aloiai #190

I can't wait to watch more of this kid play, good to hear he's got a good level head on his shoulders too. If he keeps his feet grounded and keeps working hard this kid is going places

Watched his interview post Melbourne game and was super impressed with his answers. Came across as humble and really level headed.

Could be a real Tapau replacement for us in the years ahead.

Good luck to the young man.

And kudos to JT on his signing. Another great forward depth signing behind MCK and Edwards.

Josh Aloiai looks like a really promising forward and he is also looking to improve and actually wants to play for us. Who would not like him.

Aloiai should make the Round One bench, along with Ava . Then it will be between Lovett , Chee Kam and Giffen for the other spot. And someone how can fill in at Dummy Half for the last spot.

I like what I saw of him against the Sharks, he really hits hard in defence and takes some stopping with the ball too, he's powerfully built and hard to put on the deck, he fights hard in the tackle and doesn't give up and you can't ask for too much more than that.

Strong yet evasive runner with an effective hit and spin.
Also hits with his shoulder in D. Something very very few players at this club have ever done. One to watch for sure.

Sounds like he has the right attitude

First battle won , looking forward to seeing him play

but but but…never mind..

We got the better deal with the Aloiai/Woods swap....If trial form is anything to go by he deserves a bench spot Rd 1..

Most excited to see Aloiai and Chee Kam play this year out of the new recruits. He looks like a gooden

Leave your but out of this one

Sounds like a great kid and a breath of fresh air from the egotistical meatheads that infiltrate the NRL ie Lodge.
Hope his prayers get answered and he gets some time in 1st grade.
Go get 'em Josh.

Was going to mention the matt woods swap. Hard to believe parra agreed to it. I'll be shocked if woods ends up half as good as Aloiai.

Guy looks locked in for a bench spot for round 1, hopefully he makes it his and puts pressure on the starting guys.

I've got a really good feeling about this kid. I had the same feeling the first time I saw Farah and Woods play in trials - not so much hype about their junior careers, nothing as obvious as a Chris Lawrence length-of-field try, but a certain class about their play that said they would be quality first-graders.

I really think Parra are going to regret losing him to us in the next few seasons.

Josh could be the man to plug up the middle if he can make it,he certainly doesn't fear having a go,just what we need strength and enthusiasm….I hope he becomes a huge success for us,all the best Josh...

Seems impressive from what I've seen. Must have had a big off season as the article has him at 115kg yet his profile on the Tigers web-site has him at 110kg, either way I too believe his deserves a bench spot for Round 1.
