Josh Aloiai #190

So glad he's settled in so quick. He, along with MCK,were the two new recruits that I was hoping would make the step up.
(When I think about it, hoping for Parahi as well, and Ado-Carr and Grant, and Edwards and Griffin).

Great pick up from Parramatta.

Appears raw, young, eager, talented and eager which we need in our ranks and probably have been crying out for over the last couple of years.

The way I see it, he is in our top 17 side each week until his form drops or another player is playing too well they demand promotion.

love the competition for spots this year. Something WT are not use to.

Edwards has missed a lot of football over the years so he needs to perform big time in State cup before being considered for the top side.

I think we forget the huge step from lower grades where some players appear to be superstars to NRL. Unfortunately a lot of players do not make the successful transition.

Future superstar.

Cant be any more impressed with this young guy. Looks a star as an edge backrower but currently we need him in the middle and he's doing the job there. Hopefully somoene can take his place in the middel with Sue so he can play to his strengths on the edge.

Was very impressed too KS.

Would like to see him and Sue get more minutes. I thought they were both underutilised compared to other forwards today. Sue should be a minimum 60 min player IMO and has generally been getting less time than that each week.

He looked spent when he came off. Took an age to walk back , his thighs are massive. No one on either side impressed me , although is hard to gage so far back at ANZ.

I'm a big fan, has a lot of sting in defence. Apparently his name is John, as thats what Andrew Moore on ABC was calling him all game. Idiot.

The dude is huge.
He looks down on Semi Radradra, who I thought of as a big guy.

Impressive player tho,
Looking to see how he progresses.

Very good start to the season. Runs hard & hits hard in defence.

If Lovett is suspended next week then I hope Aloiai gets a start in the backrow with MCK promoted to the bench.

Its very simple isn't it, if you are a forward just hit the ball up hard,
If you don't have the ball then hit the players hard in defence.

I don't like forwards trying to get too cute, just run those meters your team needs.. SIMPLE !!!

On topic, I like what I see so far
Keep it going son

Keeper…his work off the ball today was fantastic...will get better the more game time he gets...

Might even have to change my Avatar...

He's got talent, no doubt about that. Given it's his first season out of NYC it's clear to see Taylor isn't trying to burn him out by playing him too long. I think we'll see his gametime improve as the season develops.

I'd have him starting in the backrow alongside Lawrence next week.

You change Avatars as often as Hobbo changes bras

More Aloiai and Sue, less Buchanan and Lovett is what the doctor ordered

My thoughts exactly.

That and Elijah Taylor hopefully coming this week

Elijah Taylor?

Reportedly wants out of the Panthers, we're in the running to sign him apparently.

Agree with previous positive posts about this bloke will be an asset with more experience and hopefully more game time, possibly as soon as next week with our team of walking wounded.
