Apparently doesn’t trigger no fault policy.

This level of charge is at Greenburgs discretion as to whether the no fault policy is enforced!

Article mentions jail sentence is below.

It is below the 11 years sentence which is the level for an automatic stand down but Greenburg has discretion for serious offences below 11 years which is what was used to stand down Dylan Walker!

Ah okay, what you think he will do?

NRL have already said he is free to train....His case comes before court on the 18th ..we will know more then..

He'll probably: see how serious the allegation is; make some assessment of how the evidence appears to be stacking up (in Walker's case it seemed pretty compelling); get a sense of which way public sentiment is blowing; and then use all that to make his mind up. I'd say he probably won't stand him down after what happened with Walker but there aren't enough details as yet to do anything but have a bit of a guess.

So rape triggers no fault and battery doesn’t.

Did st George get cap relief from de Berlin anyway?

They are free to train even if stood down, that is the no fault part, they still get paid and can still train.

Well there are degrees of physical assault. Assault occasioning ABH doesn't trigger it but reckless GBH in company would, or wounding with intent to cause GBH, or various other violent offences.
Yes the Dragons got cap relief for De Belin.

Just my thoughts to the mods, as this is an ongoing legal matter this thread should be locked

Yes totally agree
ITs not nice for people / strangers to be speculating on social media on matters which we all know nothing about
I think Josh and the woman involved would be under enough duress already
Have a heart and close the thread

This place seems a bit aggressive the last month or so.

Might be a bit of off-season grumps, maybe wanting a marquee player signing or two, or might even be due to smog!

We need a marquee signing like an addict needs a fix. Like a hand needs a glove. Like a sock needs a shoe. Like a... enough.

I wasn't hoping to achieve anything you Muppet...Yes I have heard a bit more than most...due to my relationship with the family .but do you think I'm stupid enough to post it on here,

No but you just try to big note yourself by telling everyone you know stuff. I deleted a post earlier saying this because you seemed upset but your muppet comment means all bets are off. Totally unnecessary and poor form mate.

Well you tell me steve why should I be coping shit from people on here just because I am friends with his mum....and I'm smart enough not to comment on here

You put it out there man. No one sourced you for comment. Probably for the best if you mute this thread cause I think it’ll get worse for you if you’re emotionally invested in the story.

And no ones targeting him because he’s friends with the family. Teasing information is the problem. You’d think he’d get it by now. But again, he’ll come back with the straw man argument.

Dunno about all that and to be honest I don’t care. As heartless as it may seem, I only care about how this affects the club. I don’t know josh and although it sucks that this allegedly happened, he’s not my family, friend or even a player I’ve got any emotional attachment to.

If I did know josh, or anyone in his family a comment like I made above would upset me..why I suggested given his situation he probably should stay away from this thread cause although people won’t admit it, they probably feel similar.

To be perfectly honest, all 95% of us care about is how it affects the club, that’s what we’re emotionally invested in.

Don’t get me wrong - admins do a great job. @spacecub is copping it royally here. That’s just not right. Not the way I was brought up anyway

I can't work it out either

Calling @Geo a flathead isn't very nice

You have to feel for @spacecub ...but you learn if you are here long enough that some people get upset if you don't spill the beans ...or even when you do and people don't like what you have said

I don’t know what all the fuss is about. The NRL seem fine with wife beaters. They almost always keep their jobs or go to other clubs for more money.
