I want to know how a person can look you in the eye and tell you they are pregnant, then look you in teh eye and tell you they've had a miscarriage, then do the same thing again.

And the other person believes you, and you are indifferent to their suffering. It's just a game to you.

If that part of it is true, it just makes me wonder how deceitful a human being can be. If it's true, it's absolutely unhuman behaviour. Literally a pyschopath.

I wouldn't be so harsh @jirskyr
If these allegations are in fact
true than I feel sorry for the young
lady and hope she gets some help.

Tigerballs,

Have you had a wife plead with you not to bring her drunken husband into the house because "he'll beat the shit of me?"

Or being duty mug and called out in the early am to stand between a senior public servant about to give his wife another punch to the head?

You see the joke was on me because a lot of men knew the true nature of these "men". I guess they didn't know what to do with them.

There was no safety net for these poor women, no help, not a thing. They were reliant upon a kid (I was just turned 19) to protect them.

It left an impression on me, both physically (I got hit) and metaphorically.

So walk away from a volatile situation.

I'm sorry if I touched a nerve Paws but I grew up in the old Balmain and I've seen plenty. I've copped plenty. I lived next door to a great bloke who shot his mother and did 12 years and It always bothered me because his mother was the worst person I have ever met, and I've met plenty of bad people. My old man was no saint and broke my nose when I was 13 but it would never cross my mind to shoot him. How bad does a person have to be for their own son to shoot them? There's plenty of bad men out there, no doubt but there's also plenty of bad women. Good people need to be allowed to be good people, bad people, men and women, need to be held to account.

And a few prominent politicians.

On Josh playing. If he is reasonably innocent, then I hope this episode doesn't hang too heavily on him and he can find his best form, as even though he is past his prime, he still possesses a first grade level game.

It's not only physical violence as you will read at the attached link. I asked myself if I would want my mother, sister or daughter (if I had one) placed in that situation in the video? Truthfully, we all know the answer.

The issue of the credibility of the young lady is a separate issue.

https://www.police.nsw.gov.au/crime/domestic_and_family_violence/what_is_domestic_violence

I'll be honest, if ANYONE I knew, including a mother, sister or daughter, lied about having cancer to extort money, lied about their parent's death to extort money, lied about being pregnant, lied about having a miscarriage, and deliberately set someone up on camera and splashed it on the internet...

**I couldn't care less if they got slapped.**

Sorry I just can't accept that. No matter what the provocation, it is contingent upon us to demonstrate discipline and restraint.

If your child was with someone who was mentally abusing them, mentally torturing them with fabrications about dead parents, cancer, miscarriages, extorting money from your child, trashing your child's reputation and character, wrecking their career... your advice to your child would be "it's contingent on you to be disciplined"?

I would hope the advice would be to get as far away from them as possible and not abuse the person as some here are suggesting!

That would be my advice too, but I certainly wouldn't get all preachy if after all that they were caught on camera dropping a c bomb.

Funnily enough I have used that word once in my life, to my dad in an argument when I was 16 in front of all my mates. Dad actually put a short left onto my chin when I said it, last time I have ever used that word. I am a person who against violence, I have never even smacked my daughter, but I will say that taught me a very valuable lesson.

So...DV is good in some instances? :joy:

Where did I say that?

DV includes getting smacked in the mouth for dropping the c bomb at your Dad

Relax big fella. I know you didn't say that...I was just joking :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Of course it does, just because I learnt something from it doesn't make it right!

According to 9 news police are now wanting to speak to Miss whatever her real name is regarding the allegations raised last night.

I hope she cops both barrels if those allegations are proven true. I also hope Josh cops the appropriate punishment if he is found guilty, though I’m starting to suspect he won’t be.

I think they're gonna see this for what it is.

Tell em to grow up and go their seperate ways.

No charges for anyone.

I think she'll get in more trouble now than Josh will. Not because of whatever has happened or didn't happen, that's now irrelevant, but because he has more money and has got more expensive lawyers who have already influenced the media getting his story out.

Right or wrong, he will get off.

Whats she gonna get in trouble for?

Lying about being pregnant?
Asking him for money?
Lying about her name?

Wow... serious crimes.
Throw the book at her.

System isn't designed to take the mans side.

Intent to defraud?
Asking for money for situations which clearly don't exist
The fact she has done this before makes her a serial offender

Fraud

**Fraud has been identified as the most expensive crime category in Australia with fraud and deception-related offences believed to be the largest category of all federal offences from all levels of Australian courts**. Estimates indicated that approximately 25 percent of all the fraud cases are actually reported.

This estimate can be attributed to some people believing that fraud is a victimless crime, or that it's not as serious as other crimes. This is not true. Fraudsters are often part of serious organised criminal gangs, who use the money to fund other crimes such as human trafficking, illegal firearms trade or terrorism.

Unfortunately, many frauds go unreported by victims because of personal embarrassment. **It is likely that if a fraud has been committed against you, someone else may have suffered a similar crime. The more individuals who report fraud offences, the more likely it is that fraudsters will be arrested, charged and convicted**.

**Remember that fraud is a crime and that fraudsters will constantly reinvent themselves to find new ways of tricking people**. Anyonecould be a victim

Sounds like this lady doesn't it

Asked her bf for money?
He gave it to her...

Shes a habitual liar.
Is there proof she said it was for a funeral or some other stuff?
She could just claim it was a gift.

He said, she said.

At the end of the day this looks like everyone involved, Josh especially is stupid.

Better to cut their losses and move on.
No criminal charges necessary.

Learn a lesson from this fellas.
Dont give money to chicks.
Don't date crazy.
And dont put yourself in hostile situations.

Manipulative.

Nice one smokey, yet again proving you're all class.

What are u on about peanut? I said there was a concerning video of JR about to drop before any of you had a clue about it. Regardless of the character of this woman, all that’s been said yesterday has nothing to do with the incident that happened that night he has been charged for. And it sure doesn’t warrant any assault on her that may have occurred that he’s been charged with. And if you think it does, then you really shouldn’t comment on the “class” of someone moh.

Unbelievable :joy:

Mate honestly if I had the time or cared enough I can go back and highlight so much.

You said there was a concerning video of JR - sure, but that was all over twitter before you said anything. To even state 'before any of you had a clue about it' clearly says a lot about you and what you are after here.

But hey, JR *definitely* won't be here aye. Sensationalism at its finest.

Nah

If she wasn’t pregnant she did a fantastic job of faking it. The gender reveal Instagram video with her and josh she was definetly showing.

Nah but more to the point, if they are claiming she was never pregnant at any stage then she did a great job faking it basing off that gender reveal.

The lines seem very blurred on this discussion. If JR is accused of violence against this woman he will be judged in court accordingly for his actions and so be it.
However this does not and can't excuse the actions of the woman involved to deceive and cause the emotional abuse, manipulate and destroy a persons reputation and career under the guise of being a DV victim - and reportedly it's not the first time. If there is any case of fraudulent activity in this relationship that can be held up in a court of law this person should be subject to penalty so no other person becomes a victim of her intentional deception.

If we are stating the obvious, neither is the video of JR that apparently deserved him not only getting sacked, but all sorts of outlandish things.

Wait for this to be twisted into accepting domestic violence.

I dont play the blame game and was on the receiving end on here of condoning DV.

I however think the video would be considered DV tho.

Intimidating and threatening behaviour.
Yeah he wasnt beating her on camera but the harm principal is in play.

Did you leave your shirt there to

I don't get undressed at my mates place
What were you up to Happy
And is that how you got your name

if the allegations against the victim are true - it's obviously a horrible, manipulative person who has tried to wreck numerous peoples lives. That doesn't mean josh didn't hit her and doesn't justify it if he did. So many moving parts with this story I think it's pretty hard to really come to any judgement without being in the courtroom and hearing all the evidence. Hopefully, it's a quick court case and the correct decision is reached.
