Are you a highly paid public figure with previous history of violence or aggression against women? I don’t think so, so comparing your own incidents to a high profile players isn’t the same when it comes to how it affects the club.

What previous history?
So now you're talking about how it affects the club? I never mentioned that or even alluded to the fact that any of the negative publicity is good for the club.

From Facebook - Josh Reynolds who was charged with domestic violence in November is seen in a video that we won't post here for legal reasons, is allegedly seen in a video doing the rounds on social media repeatedly and aggressively calling a female "dog and a c*nt".

Without knowing context it appears she scared him which upset him whilst recording him without his knowledge. It's unknown how old the video is however it's doing the rounds on social media in private groups.

More on www.nrluniverse.com

So he reacted when he found out he was being recorded without his knowledge? Is that really all? If so he's the victim.

Geez what a horrible take.

It's not a horrible take at all. Like @happy_tiger said previously this incident is so clearly a set-up by the woman in question. She's provoked him then recorded his reaction on camera, all for what? And the way you blokes go on and on as if you've never argued with a woman in your life. He won't be sacked for this and shame on whoever recorded/distributed the video.

Crikey, another horrible take.

Of course, it is. Because it's against how you take the whole situation. I've noticed that a lot with your posts...

Sure, he's using language I don't necessarily agree with but you really do have to question why the woman has chosen to record all of this instead of leaving like Reynolds had asked her to.

You don’t find his actions intimidating, swiping at her with the remote etc?

I'll agree that is intimidating. Like I said I don't agree with the way Reynolds is acting in the video, however:
(1) None of his actions in the video can be considered criminal
(2) Why has the woman not listened to his repeated request to leave the house and instead chosen to record the ordeal without him noticing? For someone that should be intimidated that is quite weird if you ask me

But like always, since I don't agree the held views on domestic violence I'll now be painted as a DV offender who has no respect for women, despite the fact I've never done such a thing. That's how it usually goes.

Are u aware of the law?
Raising your voice to your woman is enough to be charged these days.

Not only did he do that he also verbally abused her in a threatening state.

As far as the law would view this, lines were crossed.
Hence why a dvo was put in place.

If this was to happen after he'd be facing a few years in prison.

Every man would be Locked up, he’s ex Doing him over

Agree

Yep.

This is why us as men all need to be aware of this and protect ourselves at all time.

Walk away from an argument.
Re-engage when things have cooled down.
Don't get caught in the heat of the moment.

Very good advice

Same thing happened to me...I wish I could go to the cops every time a woman does something to me that I don't like.

The reaction to this video is not in proportion to the events that occurred. Not to mention we don't see what happened prior. To call this DV is an insult to DV victims.

That’s true

Agreed but there is a court case in process to determine if he is. Separate to that we have video clearly demonstrating how he treats women.

As i explained...
It wasnt filmed and it was an argument
Heated from both parties...
Cops came, neither wanted to take it further but it was now a police matter.

My friend had to go to court and had a 6 month DVO in place.

This is something we as men need to be aware of.
The female was just as to blame but the courts do not care.
She didnt wanna DVO, the police did.

Im sure it was stressful for him but they're still together and that was 3 years ago.

Do u understand?

Cool. I could be a highly paid public figure by the way. I choose instead to work in a OK paid job and spend my work time commenting on forums anonymously.

It is threatening, no doubt about it. Definitely not right at all. But you have to ask the question... Why isn't she leaving and continues to record?
