The reason I give us a chance is like GNR said, lookat who we are competing against.

A Dragons that that is quite frankly awful.

A Titans side that has punched above their weight all year.

And a Penrith side that we just beat

We dont have to win 7 in a row. We just have to find a way to beat these teams home who we all play.

Now like Happy said it is hard to see us not stumbling along the way, however you could say the same for the other teams. I cant imiagine their fans would be chock full of confidence.

Exactly my point. It's a new ball game after the bye and it's only those teams we need to beat to the post. Idk how anyone can say it's not doable. Some on here are so insulated in our own teams bubble that they don't pay attention to how average the teams around us are.

It's definitely doable.
That said, every game is against a team ahead of us on the ladder (other than Parramatta - who would be ahead without the penalty).
I absolutely expect us to win at least 3 of the 7, but there are some really tough games against teams with a lot to play for. We will be outsiders with the betting agencies for pretty much every game bar the Titans at Campbelltown.
Lets go one week at a time - the Dragons is as much of a must win we've had in ages. A game we should win.

We'll have a lot to play for too. It's irrelevant what the betting agencies think. They had us at 150/1 in 2005, so shows what they know. I don't think we'll win all of them, but should win enough to still be sniffing around come the last 2 or 3 rounds. I'm sure the teams around us will help us along the way.

I included the betting agencies as a gauge of public opinion.
I think we're in with a good shout, but it's hardly an outlandish opinion to think that we won't make it.

I cant remember a bigger game for us than the Dragons coming up. This is a must win for us, and a win here hopefully leads to a good run which gets us to the semis. A loss here and we might just leave ourselves with too much. Dragons at ANZ on a sunday afternoon , we gotta win this one. Go the mighty tigers!!!!!

True and to be frank, the Parramatta match that follows is must win too.

Especially considering they are now likely to be without Norman and Radradra is out. Gotta win both games to be any chance.

Happy - I have no idea what you are on about. I answer every question asked of me. I think we have a team with a lot of talent. I think your comments regarding the player's ability are basically delusional.

I think you are so obsessed with JT being the super coach and you've bought into his defensive palava that you've lost all perspective. I think you'd rather us lose games than you have to adjust your opinion. This small run of wins must be killing you.

So last question was where do you rate the WT's centres combination among the 16 clubs??

No answer yet pal ??

What you just need to do bump your answer

Shouldn't be too hard Steve , you've answered all my questions

Check mate I'd say

Don't worry , I'll find the other questions I've asked of you and you can bump the answers to them as well

As I said ,(and I'll find my comment and bump it ) was I would start to believe our Top 8 chances once we beat the Dogs

Better than Roosters, Storm, Gold Coast, Warriors, Penrith, Parra, Cronulla, Newcastle, Souths, Nth Qld, St George & Manly.

On a par or pretty close to Canberra, Brisbane and the Dogs.

I reckon our centre combination matches up really well to basically every other club in the comp. I don't think our centres are an issue.

That's not a bump Steve

That's you finally replying to ONE of my questions

And you have to be kidding  Jamie Lyon is better than both of centre combined

That would be right on the attack side, but on the defensive side, I struggle to find a centre pairing that we are better than.
But Steve I do agree our side is better than their ladder position represents, we should be further up the ladder than we are, but some bad decisions both from our part and match officials have played a part in that.

We were agreeing for a while Steve, but you've lost me again. If you think our centres are on par with BJ Leilua than…............

Our centre combination is actually pretty good. I went and checked them compared to the team lists in a random round. All the palava about our centres being terrible is simply dross.

Yes our right hand side defence has some problems but I don't think that is all on Naiqama. I said in another thread it comes down to our defensive structures and Moses, our right edge backrower, Naiqama and Nofo.

I did state Canberra were on a par or better than us. It's the centre combination we are comparing.

Our middle third is fine

Left and Right both have major issues , just right is the easiest to breakdown

Still waiting for the bump or will that be another question you ignore

You are right 2 total non defenders playing aside each other has been a failure, I do not understand why this has not been rectified ,but I have come to the conclusion that the club is in dire straits when it comes to NRL quality players and thus is why this problem has not been fixed!

You are a little sensitive aren't you. I definitely do not avoid answering your questions so ask away.

Not sensitive at all Steve

Your just not exactly truthful , you still haven't bumped your original answer to my last question

Happy - I have no idea what you are talking about. I thought I just answered the question on our centres. Let me know any other question that I have to answer.
