Gutherson had a bit of an off night, he's much better player than that.
Kiwis a bit lucky really considering that try they scored off the 5m forward pass….though they were probably the better team.

Five Kiwis: Haleta, Martin, Cherrington, Liolevave, Peni and Lodge, looks promising :slight_smile:
All WT players were very good, especially Lodge and Cherrington.
Liolevave is big (185, 112 kg), and very agresive.

Have we signed Martin for next year?
Impressive game by Lodge. Best player on the field he busted his gut out there. Liolevave was also impressive in terrible conditions. Future is looking bright up front as long as we hang on to this talent.

Good to watch the best youngsters display their wares before the wrestling gurus get a proper hold on them.
Having a front and back rower, two spine players, and a couple of wingers on display bodes well for us, potential wise at the very least. If Seve can join them in realising his, all the better as we could really do with a centre.

Just watched the highlights now, looked like a good game, disappointed that I missed it now.
Just on the penalty at the end, isn't it normally from where the defending team receives the ball? Say that was a kick in general play isn't the penalty spotted where the fullback or winger takes the kick? I may be wrong but that could've changed it dramatically
