A work friend of mine went to the fan party at Star City last night. He was talking to Junior Moors and Moors mentioned that he would be signing an extention today to stay at the Tigers Until 2012.

lets hope he's on peanuts….

Moors is not on big coin since he was injury plagued and running around in NSW Cup when the Tigers signed him. He's definitely got potential but needs to increase his workrate.

:astonished: What a surprise..

Well done Junior…hopefully fully fit he will be pushhing for a spot in the 17..

Great signing! Junior adds some much needed quality depth to the squad and could be something special if he keeps at it. I'm surprised Sheensy didn't use him more during the year.

I hope he has a great 2011\. Was impressed with him when he got a chance in first grade. Our forwards are looking good for next year.

I saw two or three of his NRL games and I thought he was quite good, especially against Penrith. Will be a good player to add to our depth and will only improve.

This signing if true is quality. Junior was one of the form forwards before he disappearred. He is an excellent player to call upon if injuries strike compared to what other clubs will call upon. He shouldn't have been dropped from the 17 to begin with though.

That would be a shock if true

Why is that??? It's good news!

I hope we are keeping Flanagan too!

it just surprises me that's all, midway through the year sheens told moors and fifita he would only have 1 of them in the 17 as they were both impact props.

After fifita secured his place in the 17 moors seemed to fall off the face of the earth. I like junior and thought he was great for us, I just assumed sheens didn't rate him anymore and he would be looking elsewhere

Maybe that's why Junior played the back end of the year with the Pies as a wide running second rower,,,where he caused problems for opposition teams..Arguably he is most destructive and best position..

Fortunately or Unfortunately for Junior our backrow stayed relatively fit..

Great depth signing either way…

yep agree, moors is great running wider with the option to offload. can also fill in adequently at prop, certainly better then dwyer, Ellis or heighno.

This is good for our depth and good for a real battler of a player

I like Moors. I just hope he figures out hope big he is and runs with gusto in 2011.
