Can someone please teach him how to hold the ball? Every time he makes a hit up he holds it way too high and nearly loses it in the tackle.

And catch a bomb when contested by the other team? Overrated IMO. will drop a bomb at least once in each game if opposition is close. Is playing better than last year, more dirty hit ups etc but never looking for opportunities.

Tupou definitely has the attributes to be a formidable NRL player. The right coaching and team environment may be able to get the maximum out of his potential, or maybe he will never reach it. There is definitely a player there though and it’s unfortunate that he’s leaving. I hope that he keeps improving for us this season, but to do so he needs to push himself more and lift his involvement and his intensity.

Slack on Tupou, we'll miss him. He didn't have any
more errors than Bula & Utoikamanu (2). We'll miss
his carry backs. He avegerages the highest kick return
metres + post contact meters for our backs. Also
up there for most linebreaks. I think he's more than
anything maligned for his introvertive character, which
leads people to think he doesn't care but the truth
is is that he has done above average 4 us — will
need to be replaced in the near future. Good player

I agree he is a good player. Has all of the physical attributes of a modern day winger. Only young and will keep learning. His best years are in front of him.
