Can someone clarify this for me as I’m not sure if this applies here. If a player is signed from another code, than that players contract is exempt from the salary cap. Is this the case here?

All signings are a risk, the blokes running the joint have a bucket load of experience in these things, so I will trust there judgment?

200k a year sounds better, thanks. As far as our track record of signing talent, well it hasn't been all that good has it, I do however see a change in attitude in the joint with sheens and co.

I think you're getting confused with the offer to Nanai which is 600k over 2 years. There has been zero mention of the salary to Tupou. I'd say he'd be on a 3 year deal worth no more than 600k.

I can confirm from an inside contact that the kid is on on a lower deal for 3 years and yes, around 300 mark. Club snatched him with club break fees
