The guys at Theshortball on Instagram who focus on junior reps have put together these AUS & NZL U17 teams - a few WT players Makasini, Godinet & Taupau-Moors.
Good kid very leveled head not afraid of work.Pheonix Godinet at Concord today. Hopefully securing his future!
Was apparently a part of a welcoming committee for the French Under 19 rugby league team (along with Galvin, Riley Oitmann and Marc Tannous). They visited the Zurich Centre.Pheonix Godinet at Concord today. Hopefully securing his future!
I have heard some good things about Lakeman. Him and Lele should be a good 6 and 7 combination.White Cubs travel to Northern NSW
The Wests Tigers White Cubs (U/16s) side has made the trip to Northern NSW on Saturday, as they prepare to take on the Future Titans on Monday.www.weststigers.com.au
Very good side! No Ashton Large who was in prelim squad but may have RU commitments.
Yeah Lakeman is a good one. Was one of our standouts in our Andrew Johns Cup team this season that made GF & just won Macarthur U16 premiership with Camden Rams. I reckon he’s a halfback who features on the WT depth chart & probably a reason why Alex Isdale looked elsewhere.I have heard some good things about Lakeman. Him and Lele should be a good 6 and 7 combination.
How long is he signed for do you know .Heamasi Makasini turns 18 in July next year. I wouldn't be surprised if we asked for an exemption to play before then (Suaalii style) on the wing in 2025.

He's playing right now on stan sport if you have it
for the waratahs u16s academy team (at centre)
With all our concern about the release of Onitoni Large, I thought I'd have a crack at producing a pathways depth chart for each position.
It helps put things in perspective & has shown that if we did lose Ashton Large too, we are well stocked in that position.
I have put an * next to those I class as absolute high priority retentions and age in brackets.
The chart is based on a combination of how far they progressed this season, making rep teams, media reports highlighting WTs priority player & my own observation.
Appreciate if other regular junior rep watchers have any others to add in or dispute current position.
