A few snippets of those in our pathways:

CAMDEN

RILEY OITMANN

Fullback

A constant in the Wests Magpies rep teams, Riley is one of eight Rams chasing back-to-back under-18s titles. A genuine flyer, the fullback continues to improve his passing game and has scored eight tries.

DYLAN SMITH

Hooker

Everyone listens when Dylan has something to say. A proud captain, the No.9 leads by his actions and is one to keep an eye on around the ruck.

LUCAS ROSSI

Prop

A key member in the Rams pack, the NSWCCC rep is another on the radar of the Wests Tigers. Deals in big metres and never takes a backwards step.

PJ FRENCH

Interchange

Still only 17, this towering forward has already caught the eye of local talent scouts. A prop with a bright future, PJ is tough to bring down.

EAST CAMPBELLTOWN EAGLES

ABEL FAANATI

Centre

With East Campbelltown on the up, Abel returned home after a brief stint in the Canterbury competition. Recognised for his tenacity in defence, the Tigers development rep is also known for striking against the run of play.

BRODY TAATEO

Wing

Joins twin brother Jerome in the quest for premiership glory. A former fullback, Brody has a strong carry and also plays reps for the Macarthur Wests Tigers.

BROOKLYN MILFORD

Hooker

An absolute tackling machine, Brooklyn is a rising hooker who has already agreed to terms with the Wests Tigers. Tricky with the ball, his kicking game continues to evolve.

KIMBALL LIUFAU

Prop

Another on the Wests Tigers books, last year Kimball represented the Australian Schoolboys in rugby union. Known as the “Running Fridge”, he is pound-for-pound one of the strongest props in the comp.

BYRONN LAUPEPA

Second row

In a big week of footy, Byronn will represent Blacktown Patrician Brothers in the Schoolboys final on the Gold Coast before returning to the Eagles’ nest. A wrecking ball backrower, he has also played junior reps.

Thanks for the insights of our talents in waiting.

A couple of WT pathways players in the Camden v The Oaks Macarthur A Grade GF on Sunday as reported in the DT:

Harry Delaney (Camden) Middle forward

One of several young Rams in the Wests Tigers pathways, Harry is fast tracking his development as a reliable hard working performer off Camden’s bench.

Kohan Lewis (The Oaks) Lock

Another in the Wests system, Kohan debuted in first grade last season and only recently turned 18.

Known for tireless efforts in the middle, he arrives at the decider one week after smashing out 137m and completing an extraordinary 66 tackles.

Making 66 tackles playing 1st Grade at age 18 is off the richter.

Congratulations to Christian Taupau-Moors & Phoenix Godinet on making the NZ U17 TU (NSW based) squad to play the NZ U17 TOA (QLD based) squad on Sunday at Runaway Bay. Bronson Harrison is Team Manager too.
Is this something new? Never heard of these teams before

Interesting he is their lock?
We usually have him as a Prop.
But we do tend to play lightweight workers out of position----props?
Not sure of our thinking in this regard in their development?

Kohan's still pretty small as far as A Grade goes, whereas in junior reps he's a bit bigger.

from what I've seen within the WT pathways the last few years, particularly at Wests, is that we're really big on a ballplaying 13. Matamua, Kit, Shaafhausen-Mino, Taai, Havea.

Lewis doesn't really have the ballplaying skill in his wheelhouse that the others possess.

Kohan was always a lock and played lock for Pat's Fairfield (before moving to Westfields) and Cabra.
